Arcadia

Flag= Black with a Silver tree ringed in flames, in the flames is a symbol for each tribe. Most of the native american tribes are represented there.

History= When the white men first came, they treated them with respect, but the white men did not treat them likewise. Seeing this, a group of native american tribes got together decided to found a nation that played more or less by the white mens rules, owning the land and whatnot. They chose an area with plenty of coast and plenty of land, then opened the land to all tribes, to be ruled by a council of cheiftans. They Named it Arcadia. They formed an organized resistance to forced occupation, holding the land from the settlers and forcing those who wished to live there to live in peace or leave. Eventually, the Governments of the world took notice of this and tried to oust them, but they held strong, and eventually made them acknowledge that they were there to stay.

The Nation of Arcadia then turned its eyes to providing valuable assets to the world in the form of natural medicines and devices. Taking their old knowledge and blending it with technology from the white man. They made rapid advances in natural medicine and the advancement of natural lifestyles, finding ways to make many of the things the white man used by different means. By the early 1800's they were the main source for vaccines for outbreaks of any kind. While the rest of the world waged wars, they were discovering cures. By 1892 their medical income was only overshadowed by their tourism, people coming to see their beautiful cities and lush forests, with trees bigger than anywhere else, due to several discoveries in the care of plants that they closely guarded. At that time there was even a city in the forest, interwoven in the trees, the main tourist destination.

When WWI came around, they witnessed from the sidelines the carnage that came of war, and they stepped up their military developement programs and by the beginning of WWII, they had developed hybrid energy systems. When the First Atom bomb went off, they again stepped up their military programs. By the time the cold war ended, they eliminated the need for fossile fuels in their systems altogether and had begun development of submersible planes and missle interception systems to defend against nuclear weapons. To preserve the nations natural beauty, many of the facilities that made up cities were either underground or taking up as little horizontal space as possible. The nation of Arcadia has spent the time that other nation spent waging war instead developing cures and advancing technology, as such their military force is small but well fitted.

Economy is 2nd teir, while the cities are extreamly technological, the surrounding areas are mostly protected forest, as such they have a great deal of tourism for its natural beauty.

Divisions as such:
The 2 Forces(Guardians, Tri force) are each led by 10,000 elite troops that serve as officers, each elite leads 4 soldiers in a squad (5 men). 5 squads form 1 platoon. 5 platoons in a unit. 5 units in a brigade.

There are 112 brigades for the guardians, 336 brigades for the tri force.
The special forces has 32 brigades.

Guardians are the national guard and do not leave Arcadian Domain. They are the ones that outfit the defenses.

Each unit has 4 Azaadin Air/water carrier which each hold holds :4 fighters(they are small, ever see the hovor bikes in killzone? Yeah, close to those.) 1 gunship and 25 men. 1 platoon each. Armed with 3 heavy rail guns for taking out Extreamly heavy targets. One on top, one on bottom, and one on front.

The remaining platoon mans the Macrelan mobile command vehicle for that unit. Smaller than the Azaadin and unarmed accept for 2 machine guns on either side and 1 on front. It serves as the head for the unit.

4 of the 5 squads in a platoon has 1 Domaela air/water support fighter piloted by the officers to give them a mobile command point(Hover fighter with dual machine guns using explosive Armor peircing ammunition (to be effective in water) and a mini-rail gun for heavier targets(also modified for wateruse)).

The remaining squad runs the Matzina air/water Gunship, This is a transport/dropship for the troops not piloting the fighters.
They have 2 side mounted swivle machine guns and a swivle mounted machine guns on the top and rear.

News update: Earlier today a group of terrorists set fire to woodland on the Arcadia-Canada border, The council has asked the canadian government to turn over the suspects. The Canadian government has yet to respond.

News Update: A breakthrough in medical research was discovered today that will allow a youthfull state of health until well into the 50's, average lifespan has also been increased to 150 for those living in Arcadia or another similar environment, 100 for those living in other places. The Arcadian government has made an offer of medical aid to any nation in exchange for a partial alliance. This would allow citizens of other nations to benifit from Arcadia's medical expertise previously paid for in cash.

[Seems quite strange... no unhealthiness till 50? +50 years to lifespan? Should just keep taking it every 50 years :xd:. But of course this could be useful for my new research]

Neo Nusantara will make a partial alliance if the conditions are fair.

OOC: hey, I am playing up to the history that I have for Arcadia, we have spent most of our time with medical and technological advances rather than waging wars and building armies. Just look at the size of my army. Don't go complaining about what advances my nation makes, I'm not making game altering things, just role playing.

Newsupdate:The Arcadian scientists have received the specs obtained from the alliance with neo nusantara they are studing them for possible use in our systems. The nanomacheines are expected to go into use for construction and possibly medicine.

News Update:The nanomachines are complete and are being used to further research and construction.

The holtzman effect has been succesfully acheived using our technology.

A research base has been constructed in Antiarctica using the nanaomachines.

News update: Success has been reached with holtzman technology and implemtation will begin shortly.

Medical scientists have also succeded in adapting the nanomachines for medicine, programable for any medical operation.

News Update: The first shipment of parts for our orbital fortress have been launched. Several more shipments are expected before the end of the week. The fortress's main weapon system uses the earths gravity and the missles own acceleration to send projectiles at targets with tremendous force. The size of the explosion can be changed by the amount of acceleration applied by the missile itself.

In other news, All our military vessels are being modified for orbital operations and sheilds are also being added to them as well. A new line of ships are beginning production using nanamachines to reduce improve overall quality.

[Space fortress? Also, how can military vehicles be adapted for orbital operations? I think it would be easier to just build another vehicle...]
