I just wanted to say goodbye. This will be my last post on this forum. i will not respond to this although i might see if there are any responses.
This has been a long time coming and i have just put it off hoping for some kind of change. i do not see that change coming any time soon unless certain people are removed from where they are but that will never happen.
There are those that i wish to say thank you to. while we might not have always agreed there are things that we did agree on and we both did with respect. Those are the people that made this board a great place to be.
if you wish to contact me in any way my email address is still there. i will miss discussing topics with a good lot of you. it was always fun and lively.
anyway i hope you all have a merry christmas.

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.
I'm sorry to see you go as well, mystery. I loved having you in Water Cooler Talk and for better or worse usually enjoyed debating you, despite being opponents.
Take care, I understand and don't doubt I'll be on the same ride out at some point as well.

CAMILLA: You, sir, should unmask.
STRANGER: Indeed?
CASSILDA: Indeed it's time. We all have laid aside disguise but you.
STRANGER: I wear no mask.
CAMILLA: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda.) No mask? No mask!
Shame to see you go - based on the issue that I saw you last dealing with though I'd have to disagree with the stance that you're leaving over unless there's another I missed.
Debate gets pretty pointless when it devolves to "Nuh-uh, SAME THING AGAIN" and the stonewalling rule does make sense.
Moderation hiccups overall I'd agree with however.
I gave up on the debate forums a long time ago (you weren't one of the reasons why btw). I am sad to hear that you will be leaving, you will be missed.
