Best bet is to load up on Snapcaster Mage, get your usage out of him, then sweep the board before you return him back with Cruel Ultimatum. This deck typically doesn't want to play that many creatures and of the few it does, they're either captain Snaps or finishers like Wurmcoil Engine that we don't want to die.
I've been meaning to get more snaps, I just like to trade for them before I buy but I'm changing my decision and swallowing my pride and grabbing the last few I need. As for finishers I like my sphinx of jwar isle over wurmcoil engine. At one point I did want the engines but I convinced myself against it. Maybe you or someone else can alter that decision? I'm open to critique.
Ah I was wondering why I didn't see it listed. Makes sense now. As far as the split cards go I run rise // fall. Helps me bring back a snappy and bounce something back and I take the chance with the random discard which isn't too bad. I'm a gambling man lol.
eh, just a thought. I was looking through my cards and came across it. That's why I asked before making the assumption of using it.

Edit edit: You have inspired me to try out Augur of Bolas over Sea Gate Oracle. It plays a turn sooner and it reaches a card deeper.
I also have some chainer's edict. Would you say devour flesh is better because of its instant speed or are they both pretty much the same? Chainer's has flashback already on it but for a hefty price however they don't get the benefit of lifegain, and if I hit it with snappy, it still has its original flashback still on it.
I know it's prone to removal of all sorts but what about fatespinner? Having them skip a phase seems kind of ideal. And I'm awaiting 3 more cards to arrive and I'll post my new decklist up, looking for some critique. Going to a modern tourny this friday.
Yeah I took a minute out yesterday and just went through all 50 pages pretty much of this thread and got some great ideas. I just went far enough back that I saw a lot of talk about mulldrifter but I figured he was irrelevant now. But thanks for your feedback! FINALLY I get some input haha. I did some tweaking and I like the idea of soul manipulation..however I don't think I will run it right now, perhaps when I get one or two more snappys so I'll have something I want to pull out.
I hope this thread isn't dead because I play with this deck on the regular and my deck list is still the same however I'm considering of taking out into the roil and see beyond to put in electrolyze and serum visions. Take out the 2 of each and replace with 2 of each? Any suggestions.

I don't like into the roil so I want serum visions in its place perhaps..and I would like to take out 1 cruel..if not all for a more viable threat. Any suggestions?
