I've seen that some lists use Harmonize to refuel the hand, what about using something like Hunter's Insight to possibly draw even more cards ?
I'm also not sure that a card draw spell is the way to go rather than a PW like the new Chandra or Nissa.
Another option might something like Tireless Tracker.
I play GDD over Stormbreath, so it is often a 4/4 with evasion as well but with an added utility of replaying a LD spell
(or Anger/Bolt/Pyroclasm/D.Revelry after sideboarding).
Trinisphere can replace Blood Moon, it hits mono-colored decks too and can't be fetched around like B.Moon.
It also makes the LD more relevant to locking out the opponent copmletely from casting spells by keeping him under 3 lands.
At least it cleaned up your topdeck for better draws later.
I'm not saying it is better than Inferno Titan but as a 1x-of it might be useful over some other high-cmc card.
As far as testing goes, polukranos, world eater seems much better than obstinate baloth. I haven't played a tough aggro matchup with him yet though, and I feel like it makes the matchup much worse. But playing polukranos turn 3 then monstrosity for 2 on turn 4 to blow up a blocker and swing for 7 is pretty silly. Also its an insane topdeck in the late game. I think he will be joining the ranks for a little while at least. Now we have 2 monstrosity creatures!
Have you tried Chameleon Colossus in the 4-drop slot ?
It can become ridiculously big and pro-black can be really good (doesn't die to Terminate/Dismember).
I think the linked list is the wrong one.
About Bonfire, unless you can "miracle" it (too much luck-dependent imho) it is a very clunky and inefficient spell.
Here are some more recent succesfull decklists:
https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/478912 - no Inferno Titan and 6 Dragons.
https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/478938 - 1x MD Chameleon Colossus.

Btw, don't you think that this deck belongs in "Developing Competitive" ?
It has posted better results than half the decks that are already there.
(or Anger/Bolt/Pyroclasm/D.Revelry after sideboarding).

4x Inferno Titan
Sorcery (11)
4x Molten Rain
4x Stone Rain
3x Mwonvuli Acid-Moss
3x Beast Within
Enchantment (4)

4x Anger of the Gods
1x Beast Within
2x Destructive Revelry

4x Pyroclasm
https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/475484 - almost no creatures, most notably no Inferno Titan.
https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/475434 - the opposite with more creatures and maindeck Batterskull and Thrun, the Last Troll.
https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/477116 - a pretty conventional build, with singleton copies of Chandra, Pyromaster and Primal Command.
I wonder why no one plays with Goblin Dark-Dwellers that can recast Molten Rain, Stone Rain, Beast Within and also Boom // Bust.
Also here is a new article about the deck - http://www.starcitygames.com/article/33593_Learning-To-Learn-Ponza-In-Modern.html

Another option might be to go to 5 mana for Thundermaw Hellkite or Deus of Calamity.
I really want to test out Trinisphere so I 've freed 3x slots by cutting an Obstinate Baloth and 2x Chandra, Pyromaster.
As much as I like the Deus of Calamity it's probably not good enough so it should be Inferno Titan.
Here is how my updated list looks like:

(probably based on this with slight SB tweaks - http://www.starcitygames.com/article/32996_Daily-Digest-Nahiri-Ponza.html)
And here is another RG list that looks pretty good - http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/deck.asp?deck_id=1265389
As a sweeper I would prefer Anger of the Gods/Mizzium Mortars and as a burn/finisher spell I would go with Crater's Claws/Banefire (or Clan Defiance).
I'm surprised there is no Garruk Wildspeaker in the deck as he helps ramp and get an early titan or pump out beasts.
Wouldn't Trinisphere work even better than Blood Moon in the deck (keeping them under 3 lands) ?
Btw, here is a good article series about this deck:
http://manadeprived.com/rg-ponza-primer/
http://manadeprived.com/rg-ponza-primer-part-2-sideboarding/
http://manadeprived.com/rg-ponza-update/
Why Wild Cantor over Arbor Elf (+Utopia Sprawl) ?
I would switch out the Rootbound Crag and Game Trail for 2x Stomping Ground and 1x Cinder Glade.
I would also use Mwonvuli Acid-Moss over Rolling Terrain (and Avalanche Riders).
It seems rather clunky and slow as LD and weak as a 4-drop beater.
More Acidic Slime seems like a better idea imho.
Or maybe some Fulminator Mages ?
I would also suggest adding 3x Goblin Dark-Dwellers and 4x Stone Rain
(can replace: 2x Detritivore, 3x Avalanche Riders, 2x Acidic Slime).
What do you think about Trinisphere in this deck ?
How is Sylvan Primordial as a finisher (+LD) for this deck ?
