While we're waiting for godot (see what I did there?), are there any glaringly obvious flaws with the setup that I might have missed when mentally reviewing things?

Yes, you all may strategize in the meantime, but in the interest of moving the game along, I will ask for you to take your turn as you're posting if it is, in fact, your turn. However, if you are knocked out of the game, please do not post until the next round.
what happens to keys held by Seekers that lose challenges, by the way?
In the current iteration of the rules, it is dropped on the island that the player gets knocked out of the game on. This is one rule that may change depending on how balance looks with it as-is.

I'm looking for playtesters for a game I've come up with (working title: Treasure Seekers). I will alter the rules as necessary for balancing purposes after each game where I feel an adjustment is necessary.
The rules of the game are as follows:
There are 4-6 players.
One player (which will be me, for the sake of balance testing and theorycrafting) will be known as the "Keymaster". More on that in a bit.
The other players - the Treasure Seekers - will be, as their name implies, seeking treasure. They do this by visiting islands, locating keys, and digging up treasure chests.
There will be X+1 islands, where X is the number of non-Keymaster players.
At the start of the game, treasure chests and keys will be distributed randomly throughout the islands. (Color of key corresponds to color of chest it opens - i.e. the red key will open the red chest.) Treasure Seekers may take their turn by doing one of the following:
* Move to a different island
* Search for a key
* Dig for the treasure chest
* Unlock the treasure chest
* Challenge the Keymaster
Once all of the treasure chests are unlocked, the Treasure Seekers have won the game.
Enter: The Keymaster.
The Keymaster's goal is to knock the Treasure Seekers out of the game.
The Keymaster takes his turn by doing one of the following:
* Move to a different island
* Challenge a Treasure Seeker
Players can only issue a challenge to a player of an opposing alignment while that player is on the same island as them. Once a challenge is issued, the players must roll 6-sided dice - Treasure Seekers roll 1, and the Keymaster rolls 2. The Keymaster can choose which result of the two dice to keep.
If the Keymaster wins the challenge, the Treasure Seeker taking the challenge is knocked out of the game.
If the Treasure Seekers wins the challenge, they obtain the Skeleton Key, which can be used to unlock any treasure chest.
If the Keymaster loses a challenge, he can not challenge the same player again until he knocks another player out of the game. If the Keymaster consecutively loses challenges against every player still in the game, he will lose the game automatically, as the players will be able to unlock all of the treasure chests unhindered at that point.
-
Here's how this will work:
I will distribute the chests and keys on the islands randomly using random.org. If a player unearths a treasure chest or finds a key, I will tell them what color it is.
We will take turns in order of who signed up, with the Keymaster (me) taking the last turn in the cycle. After every player's turn, I will post the status of the "board" and player inventories so that everyone can keep track of things more easily.
I'll take players until we either reach 5 of you (plus the 1 of me) or for 72 hours, whichever happens first.
Ready, set, go!
