Against aggro I absolutely keep in Martyrs, unless you're talking about aggro like Infect. Typically I cut later game cards like Ranger and Secure the Wastes against aggro. But these cards are our best vs control. I usually take out something like one of each one-drop creature vs control. If it's a non red/black deck, Aurioks are on the chopping block too. I don't want to write a whole sideboarding guide, because I feel those are useless unless your build is identical, but I can be more specific if you're curious about a particular matchup.
I am always up for reading sideboard guides, even if its for a slightly different deck build, as it still aids in learning...if it doesn't take up too much time, any sideboard strategy for Junk, Jund & Control would be helpful
Sorry for dipping from the thread for 2 days. The most potent SB cards against BGx decks are Leyline of Sanctity and Rest in Peace. Leyline shuts down discard and burn to the face, and Liliana minuses and ults. RiP shuts down Goyfs and Scoozes, and lowers the usefulness of Kolaghan's Command.
Against control, I really like Return to the Ranks, and even more so Secure the Wastes. Instant speed threats make control's job much much harder.
Other than that, these types of matchups take a lot of skill and practice. Learning when to play threats, when to hold back; being good against attrition decks asks a lot of a player.
When the ban goes into effect, I'll be switching to BW Tokens for a while. I've been building it for a long time, using my winnings to get the expensive pieces. I'm excited to try it out. I think it will be good against the incoming control decks, while maintaining good matchups against Infect and Affinity. It's worst matchup, Tron, has been nerfed. I really like targeted discard in the predicted meta. I'll still hang around this thread though it's always fun and interesting to read.
Well, I'm going up to 4 Stonys to combat SotM/Foundry decks. And I don't really know what to do about the increase in blue that Visions will bring. Maybe more Returns? What do you guys think?

I play 3 Ranger of Eos, and I side them out often. Against really fast linear decks, you just don't have the luxury. But I can't remember the last time I played a tournament without meeting control at least once, and against them, Jund, or anyone looking to grind, Mulldrifter of Eos is a huge game.
I tried bringing a sideboard guide to SCG Regionals. I found the process of writing it extremely beneficial, because it got me to sit and think critically about my plans. I used it exactly zero times. Since I had thought everything out, I felt confident recalling my thinking later. But writing it was good.
I'm off Flare for now, as Infect is all but dead in my meta. However, there were a disturbing 3 Bogles decks last time, so if that keeps happening I'll probably bring them back.
Even though Ghostway gives you ETB triggers, it still means holding up 3 mana, which is not something our deck ever really wants to do. I think Brave the Elements is far more castable at 1 mana, especially in the early turns of the game. And I'm still not liking Survival Cache; it's expensive, slow, and doesn't kill the opponent or help us live, besides the 4 life. Not to mention it's card draw is conditional on us not being in a losing position. There's too many situations where drawing or casting this loses the game.
About the speed of Mono-W: I've pulled off numerous turn 4 kills just by getting aggro against a non-interactive deck. It's not the majority of the time, but I think it's faster than what you outlined, which looks like it's trying to play the long game with lots of tokens gumming up the board and pings/drains for the win.
I'm down to talk about all sorts of cards. In my opinion, Harsh Sustenance seems win-more. If I have enough creatures out to get a big Sustenance, I probably am already winning. If I'm behind on board, Sustenance is a dead card. It's weak to the things we're already weak to. I don't see it shoring up any bad matchups.
I think the deck is very customizable, and each different build operates on a very different axis. The BW version cares about amassing a flying army and winning the race with lifegain. The Norin builds want to make as many triggers as possible. Mono-W wants loads of life and a bunch of different weird synergies, unless you're talking about the Archangel build, which wants to play a bunch of 1/1s and grow them tall.
Compared to other modern decks (Merfolk, Living End, Infect, etc) this deck can be done so many different ways, and the differences are really major. However, there's so few people talking about and playing this style that I kind of feel we should welcome all types of builds, as long as they're helping foster a useful discussion.
I already had a Warden in play, and I brought back a Warden and two Pridemates. The creatures come in, Warden 1 sees 3 creatures come in, Warden 2 sees the two Pridemates coming in with her. 5 overall
Guntius: The deck is playing Norin, Purphoros, and Genesis Chamber, so it's definitely Norin Sisters. I've never played with Norin before, but I do feel that some of your choices are questionable. Windborn Muse is a 4-mana card that dies to bolt before generating any advantage. Just can't be played. Ajani, Caller of the Pride is arguably one of the top 5 or 10 worst planeswalkers. It's basically blank if you have no creatures out, can't create a creature or protect itself, and takes a long time of doing very little to reach its ultimate. I think it's definitely wiser to run Ghostly Prison and Elspeth, Knight Errant in these slots.
