It really feels like it lands in an awkward spot in my mind. Glorious Anthem effects tend to be underwhelming overall in EDH and not count for enough. The removal effect means you have to take the damage first, it doesn't work against hexproof / shroud, and it doesn't actually stop anything.
Its really sort of awkward in my mind. I don't think its really that great EDH wise. I think it might be something for the constructed guys to consider a bit more and I could see it being a sick limited bomb. Its just not the sort of things I really care to try to combine for EDH I guess...

I think Heliod shines in an enchantress build. If you have anything that triggers off of ETB of an enchantment or based off the # of enchantments its really crazy. Overall I think he is a little lacking for most token builds though. I randomly have sort of like the niche deck already built for him so I am really happy for him lol. I wouldn't expect him to shine in many EDH decks though.

I turned a buddy of mine onto your list the other day. He has been having fun with it so far. I almost bit the dust from an Avenger + Craterhoof the other day lol. Lucky for me he had the Avenger in hand with the Chord of Calling that he was going to get the Behemoth with instead of the other way around or I would have had like no response time to stop it.

Ya.... I know there are plenty of options to deal with it out there... I was just sort of wondering if this Rhys list had a decent answer or roundabout way of dealing with it that I overlooked.
EDIT: looking at donald's list I guess the only thing I see is trying to set up Elesh Norn + Kamahl to shotgun some lands... Other than that I dont see much for a way to get around this.

Just a thought.... what is the usual response to someone buying back a Constant Mists in this deck???? Do you just hope that they run out of lands eventually or is there another gameplan to kick to against that?
It seems as though this card has become more popular in my meta of late and luckily in my own token deck which is red my go to is just using Warp World, Vicious Shadows, Wheel of Fortune, or fall back to my Kozilek to eat their lands away. Even then though it is difficult to get around and there is no way to know if I will have an answer like that for it. What would you guys advise? I have a buddy who runs a Rhys and he sort of dropped that question on me the other day and I didnt know what to tell him...

Hey jweiz, how are you finding Mentor of the Meek? I have found it game ending in a way. Reusable, cheap, and works well with practically everything in the deck. I managed to destroy my opponents quite effectively with cards like Sacred Mesa, Ant Queen, and even Rhys himself. It is better than Skullmulcher in every way except for it's massive size, which is not very scary in EDH.
You do have to factor in though that Mentor is a works over time sort of creature whereas Skullmulcher is an ETB effect which means that the mulcher is probably more powerful vs a heavy control player.
If someone were to just drop a Swords to Plowshares on your Mentor which is totally worth doing then you would be at a loss. It is true that the Mentor has a few more ways to be recurred but you also need to weigh in how often you plan on being able to run away with card advantage like this. It has great potential sort of like Consecrated Sphinx but if it gets blown away before you draw any cards then it hardly did anything now did it?
Due to that I personally will sometimes like the effect of Sphinx of Uthuun over Consecrated Sphinx even though it is a different situation it really isn't so much as this is a very similar case.
/Cough Marton Stromgald cough cough Rhys is a good commander though. I have a buddy who runs him and it is tough to stop and it can get crazy really fast. Cant go wrong with rhys but I wouldnt mind more help playtesting Marton

I have to agree on Gaddock Teeg as an add in to an existing deck. He is sort of a build around creature but unless he is the commander he isn't available often enough to really warrant building around him.
I did some testing with him in my Jenara list and I had problems with him there because he was shutting down my own effects. While I could continue to play decently it was too hard to build around him and too random on how often I would have him in play.

I run Oblation in my decks due to the versatility. Sure the giving an opponent 2 cards isn't fun however Arcane Denial is still widely run in EDH regardless of this fact. Oblation is just a necessary evil sometimes and it is useful due to how versatile it is.
That is just my own $0.02 on the matter at least. I wouldn't blindly throw it out there but it can really save your bacon and this is why I have continued to run it.

I have also had a lot of success with Oblation if you are looking for means to deal with indestructible targets.
It is really fun using Oblation on a creature stolen from you as well as you get to draw the cards. It is sort of a scary card to use but I like how it can stop combo in its tracks by hiding away part of their combo or tuck a voltron commander.

As for how to link cards you simply put Card and /Card before and after them with [] arround the tag. It would look similarly to this [Card) but with a ] instead of ) arround it. You always have to close your tag off by using the same command but with a / in front of it. [Card)Rhys the Redeemed[/card) is sort of how it would look but with [] instead of (). I hope that helps...
Also at the top of the text box where you write your messages there are quick buttons to operate this. The single card one works for that. The one that looks like several cards is actually for linking several cards in a row but I wouldnt mess with that one as much while you are new. And the last one is a deck tag. There are also a lot more options but those are the basics to get started.

Have you considered running Sun Titan in your list Donald? I know it doesn't directly do any token spawning but it can rez 28/62 of your nonland permanents if my counting is correct which is 45% of your nonland cards. There is always the few fetchlands that it can target as well if needed.
From your current list it hits the following targets:

Being a 0/1 would probably be an improvement because then you can sac him to clamp lol.
Also, I made my buddy running your list add Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile to his list. We are a lot more creature heavy though.
