Why are you comparing this card to Silvos? I know Silvos is a great card, but it's rare and legendary. If this card was legendary, it would probably be something like 5GG to cast and would be rare as well. As it is, it's not great but it's not terrible. I've seen plenty of worse cards. If nothing else, this card would be really fun with Sneak Attack (or Through the Breach).
I'm comparing this to Silvos because this is the Legend block, and Green deserves a kick ass, big ol' legend. Yeah, this guy isn't legendary (though with that name, why isn't he? What, are there a bunch of bodies of Jukai wandering around?), but he has the same P/T as Silvos, and he costs 3 more. The nonlegendary status is highly unlikely to be a problem most of the time - only in mirrors will this be any kind of significant drawback, and his cost ensures he won't be seen in a mirror. Whether a card is rare or not should not determine its constructed-level quality; only its playability should.
With Silvos coming out so recently, it's hard not to compare this 8/5 beast with that one. And it just doesn't compare favorably.
Stupid. Just stupid. Compare to Silvos. Is soulshift so good that it should cost an additional 3 mana and subtract regenerate? Was an 8/8 trampler for 9 so devastating that they needed to make the toughness low?
I guess that's what is so annoying about this - that it costs so much but has such a small ass.
