hmm....going out on a limb again, I'm going to say that it's a white and red enchantment (seeing as how white is the new artifact hoser, and how cards with barbed are usually in red). It has to do with damage, soi I'm going to go off of Barbed Wire and say its an upkeep thing.

At the beginning of each player’s upkeep, Aura Barbs deals 1 damage to that player for each enchantment he or she controls.
Gah, making that a rare is dumb. It just makes it harder for poor college students like me to get a hold of a playset >_<
As for Aura Barbs...the name implies that the enchantment would have to tap (manabarbs and aura whatever), which would be friggin weird.
So....for the sake of hoping, I'm gonna say its an artifact hoser ^^;;
Aura Barbs (either mono green or green/white with a CC of around 3 or 4)

Whenever an artifact comes into play, that player sacrifices an artifact.
