You're correct that everyone here should try to foster a fun and friendly environment, but you have to realize that it is not fun for someone who stayed up beyond their normal bedtime to ensure they got their card in by the deadline only to find out that someone else was allowed to post their card much later. I understand that you have not done this, but your post implies that you plan for the host not to close the round at the exact time they say they're going to. Please forgive me if I'm somehow misinterpreted your post.
The scenario you present doesn't make any sense. Do your cards when it's convenient for you and go to sleep when you want. "Getting your card done before you go to sleep" is a pretty good rule of thumb to go by. Presumably we're all adults aged 15-75, who live in various places, with various schedules. The goal of contestants should be to make sure that their submissions are done in such a manner that is courteous to others, meaning that doesn't interfere with others' judging and with the organizer's ability to progress through the month in a timely fashion. No one should care that someone went to bed an hour or two later than anyone else, as you seem to suggest. If the organizer closed the round right at midnight and I needed to change my entry when I got home, I'd probably do what someone did to me when I hosted February and PM the host asking if it were okay to finish my entry. And I can't imagine any reasonable organizer saying no.
I think you have to take these competitions way way too seriously to care about this sort of thing. He thought that (i) I submitted 1 hour after the deadline (ii) knew that I had finalized my submission before the round was closed by the organizer, (iii) knew it was possible I had delayed submitting my entry to hear back on a question I had posed to the organizer, and (iv) knew that me submitting my card 1 hour late negatively impacted nothing. Yet he went ahead and deemed it acceptable to disqualify my entry anyway. I think that's just completely misunderstanding the nature of this forum and the competition and does not foster the right sort of environment. It's alarming that he insists it's "his right as a judge" to disqualify entries on these grounds because that means he could do it again in the future.

Knock it off - IcariiFA already apologized for thinking you missed the deadline when you didn't. Don't try to provoke a fight.

I don't know why the focus is on my score. I'm not discussing my score, and I'm typing in English so I don't know what the problem is. I understand that my entry was not perfect. I am, however, deeply concerned that I will be unable to participate in any event in which IcariiFA is participating.
Almost every day of the week I work until 10/10:30, workout from 11-12, come home and eat, then do my cards. Not once has my schedule caused a problem as a contestant, organizer, or judge. Yet now that IcariiFA has seemingly determined to watch my time and submissions like a hawk, there are all sorts of things he can do to make participating a real chore, presumably just for me, but possibly for everyone else. If he's organizing he can close rounds right at midnight ET before I get home, something no one has done in the past. If he's judging in the MCC or judging/participating he can just disqualify me, etc etc...
I just don't know why we would want that level of rigidity and hawkishness in a hobby for-fun forum. It seems not in-keeping with any sort of spirit we would want to foster here, as I noted in my post.
I've elucidated my opinion on the matter multiple times now, so I'm done. Hopefully we don't take the wrong path here.

The point is that, in the 9 months I've participated on these forums, dozens and dozens of people have been a bit late, needed an extra few hours, needed an extra day, needed a bit of flexibility to get things done on time. Not once, not once, did IcariiFA raise a fuss about it and try to disqualify people. However, he opted to here, for a submission he thought was 1 hour late. I will and do attribute that to some kind of prejudice or malice, and everyone with half a brain would do so as well.

Void_Nothing, IcariiFA did not judge my actual entry. I do not deserve a "flame warning". You should tell him to follow the rules of this forum and competition.

IcariiFA, I did not edit my entry after the deadline. The deadline is midnight Pacific Standard Time, not Eastern Time. Please critique my actual entry, not the entry you seem to want to critique due to personal animus.
Right now, as designed, my common card doesn't use fracking mana but works well with it. The idea is to highlight how fracking mana could be utilized in a draft environment. Is that a problem? The wording on the prompt is ambiguous on this front so I wanted to ask.

I hope everyone enjoyed February's challenges. I tried to make them fun and tried to make each round feel different than the last. Thanks to everyone for participating. I think Round 3 was my favorite - I really enjoyed seeing the Form cards.

A friendly reminder: please vote in the CCL February Finals Poll if you haven't already done so. The poll closes tomorrow night. Some really nice cards were designed by FreshMeat and IcariiFA, so go check them out!!!

Somehow I still feel like I don't understand the parameters of the challenge. Is it okay if something adds CBG to your mana pool?
And would the following card pass the challenge even though it itself doesn't add mana but creates things that do? Summon the Shamans2RG
Sorcery (U)
Create two 1/1 red and green Elf Shaman creatures with haste and " , add R or G."
Trust me, you don't want to do that. Less will participate because writing 18 pieces of feedback is a lot. I only rushed things a bit because February has just 28 days.
