Yes, it has been used. You can check the list of used (and, therefore, banned) cards in the first post of this thread.
Also, that deck doesn't beat my deck. Check, for example, how it goes when you are on the play:
1. You play Forest -> Chatter of the Squirrel
2. I play Fountain of Cho tapped.
3. You play Scythe Tiger, sacrifice your Forest and attack with your token. I go to 19.
4. I play Remote Farm tapped.
5. You attack with both creatures. I go to 15. At the EOT, I put a counter on Fountain.
6. I do nothing.
7. You attack with both creatures. I go to 11. At the EOT, I put a counter on Fountain.
8. I do nothing.
9. You attack with both creatures. I go to 7. At the EOT, I put a counter on Fountain.
10. I play Elspeth Tirel, and put three tokens.
11. You don't attack, because you would lose both your creatures.
12. I play Elspeth Tirel's +2 ability and go to 10.
13. You don't attack, because you would lose both your creatures.
14. I put more tokens and attack. Eventually, I will win.
Well, you definitely can block me a lot of times, but eventually I will race over you. Remember, the decks play two games. One you go first (on the play) and the other go second (on the draw). You have to beat my deck on BOTH games, which will give you the desired "WW" (Win, Win).
With those decks, here is the narration of turns:
1. I play a Mishra's Workshop.
2. You play your Academy Ruins and Brass Gnat.
3. I play the other Mishra's Workshop then my Hellkite.
4. You play your Dimir Aqueduct (tapped) and return your Ruisn to hand.
5. I attack. You block and Gnat dies.
6. You play your Ruins.
7. I attack and you lose 5 life. At the end of turn, you return your Gnat to your library.
8. You play your Gnat.
9. I attack. You block and Gnat dies.
10. You do nothing.
11. Go to step 7.
1. You play your Academy Ruins and Brass Gnat.
2. I play a Mishra's Workshop.
3. You play your Dimir Aqueduct (tapped) and return your Ruisn to hand. Attack with Gnat. I lose 1 life.
4. I play the other Mishra's Workshop then my Hellkite.
5. On upkeep you untap your Gnat. You play your Ruins.
6. I attack. You block and Gnat dies.
7. You do nothing.
8. I attack and you lose 5 life. At the end of turn, you return your Gnat to your library.
9. You play your Gnat.
10. Go to step 6.
Again, this doesn't beat the Taiga, double Kird Ape deck, because when you are on the draw he will be able to drop both Apes and when you turn the Taiga into an Island, he will still keep two 1/1 that could kill your Guildmage if you attack.
Wait. You don't win there. You just shut down the Apes' bonus and get another Draw because you won't attack: if you attack, he will block you with both 1/1s and will end with no creatures. So you can't Win.
I lay tapped land, go
he lays tapped land, go
I lay Cloud P go
he lays one Dic go
I swing for the kill if he doesn't lay his other Dic.......I'll always be up one point of damage ahead.........he lays the other DIC then I'll bounce both for the win.....or am I missing something/this is a clear win if I'm going first?
Like I said I'm not going to post easy decks for simple wins........that's not me.
About who starts the game: You play two games. One you start, the other starts your opponent. You should get a Win in both games. But your deck beats on both games so no problem.
I'm sorry. This doesn't beat the Disciple of Grace deck, because it will only play ONE Disciple of Grace and if you play Echoing Trugh on it, it will be replayed and keep beating and will win the race if I'm right.
Also, as other said, it is important that if you post a deck which the opponent can get a draw in some way, not matter how, it is an invalid deck, because a Draw is a possible option in this game and is better than a Lose.
I'll add the used cards to the ban list because it is too much work to go back to a game where valid decks were entried.
