I'm likely to lose a lot of value on the ones I just acquired, and for that reason if no other I'm hoping for new art to at least allow me to retain some more of that original value.
But when you buy or trade for cards you're assuming an inherent risk that the value of the cards you receive will fall. In fact, oftentimes you're trading specifically for cards whose values you believe will rise, and it seems pretty childish to not accept the risk along with the reward. Of course, if people wanted to grow up and acknowledge that risk, the Reserved List wouldn't exist.
I'm glad it's being reprinted, even if I lose value. I'll gain it back in it making the format I play more accessible and healthier.

Does anyone else get the feeling that this new block is shaping up to reeeeeally slow down the pace of standard? I know there were a lot of complains about Gatecrash/Dragon's Maze being too fast, and with all these new devotion and check cards - plus the amount of beefy dudes we've seen with high costs for monstrosity and bestow, make it seem like things will be slowing down.
There are always HugeCMC cards. Look at Thassa ( 2U) she is powerfull. From all Intro packs rares the only that i think can see play is the Red Monstruosity. But i think too that Standard will slow down a bit ( More then when it was ISD Block - M13 - RTR). There will be some agro decks but they will not have consistency ( maybe turn 4 GG but not all the time). People eventually will play Decks with ( 3 - 4 CMC density) ( 6 1 drops, 8 2 drops, 10 3 drops, 2-3 4 drops, 4 5 drops, 3 6 drops, 1 7 drops)
This enchanment seems way overpowered to be real, as it would deal with Legacy Emrakul better than any card in Magic and propably replace Path in Modern. I will go as far as saying that would even replace the original StP, so until I see it I'm finding hard to believe.
If the no drawback E StP got printed i don't think it would imediatly take slots from StP and JtE but play well together like there is some Snapcarster and Delver sinergy with StP and JtE.

( Note its a Custon Card just to show that this kind of enchantment can be powerfull but kind of balanced)
I was guessing on the snake being the god. Just made sense since they seem to be a 5/5 cycle. But to clarify the enchantment swords. it should read close to W enchantment. sac~ remove target non-enchantment creature from the game, its controller gains life = to power. May also just be creature and non-enchantment creature.
And to my knowledge it will be Nimbus mazes cycle of lands in this block.

What kind of bizarre thread is it where we are believing a brand spanking new account who says things that are in direct contrast with what TK-421 has been told by their sources.
I kind of trust TK-421 more than I trust a "Trollcreature"
TK confirmed the Swords to Plowshares enchantment and some of the other cards to be true the only thing that is more or less off is the land cycle. But this can be miss remembering of TK' or Trollcreature' fonts or even we can get 2 cycles of lands...
Also that Enchantment StP is lol Powerfull (if it is like the one above)

if opt gets a reprint then in modern it will be played withSerum Visions & Sleight of Hand not in they place.
just saying Blistercoilmantle.deck would be happy about it.
being a instant would make some control decks to play less Serum Visions & more opt. ( Being able to replace a cantrip for some utility use it and replace it for a Electrolyze isn't a bad thing)
Now with Young Piromancer in modern i think it would play quite well with it + delver + tarmo and alot of cantrips...
Beside that Checklands are better colorfixing (especially in 3+ colors) and more consistent overall.
In standard a Maze cycle would be better in/if:
A: 3 colors decks with cards very splashable ( N RW , N2 RB , N3 BW.. ...)
B: Cards that are not color intensive
C: The deck overall has litle amount of that type of land ( 6 NM land cycle, 8-12 shocklands and the rest on basics)
Thougthseize is needed in Modern to keep certain strategies in check, but I REALLY don't want it in standard. It's an unfun card makes it easy to pick apart synergistic decks because you can remove key pieces, and that just adds to the problems that powerful mythic rares already create. Thoughtseize should never be allowed in standard again.
Play agro
that 2 or 4 damage (shockland) will make alot of agro players very happy

Play a coin. If you win, take another turn. If you lose, put a fate counter on medomai.
when medomai has 2 or more fate counters, skip your next turn and remove all fate counters from medomai.
Maybe nylea is a 5/5 for GG and maro is just missleading people ( like saying she is a snake cause she has deathtouch or something like this)
Or maybe there is realy a creature- snake 5/5 for GG
Thoughtseize is nice here cause it will become cheaper for other formarts
Medomai, champion of... can be good if it has a low CMC... ( Heroic - medomai gains " whenever medomai hits a opponent , Timewalk" until the end of turn...)
