An Infect deck without Glistener Elf seems strange and I really dislike Disrupting Shoal as a card (even in a Mono Blue deck).
Having Blossoming Defense in the SB and not in the maindeck seems really questionable as well.
yeah its easy to pull it apart and disagree with card choices but like i said its the only infect deck putting up results, might be time to start testing it before judging it to harshly
With all those cantrips and no 1-drop infecter it just looks slower than a typical Infect deck and might as well play Thing in the Ice/Kiln Fiend and Temur Battle Rage to take advantage of all the instants/sorceries cast.
I don't see waht makes this version any better than previous versions of the deck, it has put some results by we don't know how many times it has failed and went 2-3, 1-4 or even 0-5 because onlt 5-0's are published and only a very small number of them.
Surgical Extraction is a fine SB card but I don't think that running it in the maindeck is a good idea (unless you play a wierd mill deck) it doesn't help you kill the opponent and doesn't really protect your creatures like an actual discard spell.
If it just feeds the GY for Become Immense it might as well be anything else (even Peek).
HolySquare,
I think that BUG can merge the best of both versions of "Infect" but the main problem will be the manabase as running 4x Inkmoth Nexus in a 3-color deck which aims for a low land count isn't easy and will lead to incosistency or a lot of self-inflicted damage.
Why no Thoughtseize ?
Is the life-loss such an issue ? (when everyone played Gitaxian Probe it didn't seem like a problem)
Also the deck seems a bit low on pump spells, I can see adding some Groundswell over Apostle's Blessing as you already have 8x protection spells and Rancor for blockers.
Why not use Mishra's Bauble over Street Wraith ?
It can give you some information on opponent's topdeck and works as a pseudo-scry with an uncracked fetchland, also not shocking yourself is pretty good too.
I've tried some games online with the Sultai list and the meta seems extremely hostile to infect at the moment (or I just drew/played very poorly) as so many decks are packing interaction right now that protecting your creature (against numerous removal spells) or having a critical mass of pump spells (against discard) is really hard.

Phyrexian Crusader is probably going to remain the "best" one.
It can't help find pump spells but can dig deeper for creatures or Inkmoth Nexus.
There is also Commune with Nature which digs deeper for creatures but doesn't get lands.
An Infect creature equipped with it will deal damage in the form of poison counters.
It is a pretty slow card nonetheless (2 to cast and 2 to equip).
For a sorcery speed pump spell Might of Old Krosa is still the best option.

I would avoid cards like Unstable Mutation (Rancor is miles better) and Surgical Extraction (at least in the maindeck) though and I'm not sold on Supernatural Stamina (Vines of Vastwood is still better imho) either.
Some efficient pump spells like Might of Old Krosa and Groundswell can find room in the deck as well.
I'd rather max out on Plague Stinger and bring Phyrexian Crusader from the SB against decks that would have trouble dealing with him.

Wouldn't a Blue splash just to play Blighted Agent together with Glistener Elf and Plague Stinger be a better alternative to the 3-cmc knight ?

It looks pretty bad, it shows he has never played Infect.
