Although i'm a big proposer of Ghor-Clan Rampager i never go for more than 2 nowadays.
The reasoning is simple, there are just too many Matchups where he is not super useful.
I board him out pretty often and put in 2 Eidolon of the Great Revel, which singlehandily
won a couple of Matches.
During playtestings i ran 2 Flinthoof Boar and 2 Fanatic of Xenagos instead of 4 Tarmogoyf
and it pays off. Both are better suited for racing, because of there Haste-Clausel.
If the Matches tend to go longer Goyf is likely better.
I got 19 Lands + a single Dryad Arbor, so some space for 3cmc Cards.
It performs quite well during my testings.
I think you'd be better served by going down to 18 lands or 18 + Arbor and playing more 1 and 2 drops.
Exactly.
18 + Arbor is fine.
3 drops are a no.
What you want to be doing is linking something into Bushwhackers. 3 drops don't let you do that. Even 2 drops (besides BTE) make it harder to chain.
If you want to play 3 drops, play Big Zoo.
Can't believe that this is right at all times.
I've looked up mtgtop8 Lists of MTGO and there are some that run 18 Lands, some 19, some with 20.
Some run 18 or 19 + Arbor. So my assumption can't be completely wrong.
It's a Vanilla 5/5 that is able to put some work in Gruul Zoo Builds.
It evolves experiment one, can be dropped by a burning-tree emissary and is a good mid- and lategame-topdeck.
We drop our hand pretty quickly and should empty it around T3 - T4, so this enables the Fatty constantly.
I play UWR Control usually Kiki/Angel version and moving towards Nahiri. I struggle a bit in the Naya Zoo matchup. Any tips or sideboard cards I can bring in to help the matchup? Usually I'm losing due to the relative ineffectiveness of Bolt/Helix vs Goyfs/Knights and sideboarded Smiters.
Goyf and Knight usually requires a lot of stuff in the Grave.
If your timing is good, Relic of Progenitus hurts both dudes badly.
Just beware of your Snapcaster Mage shenanigans.
With Relic in play an attack by Goyf and Knight looks much less impressive - Snap Bolt, block one, Bolt the other.
Now crack Relic of Progenitus, leaving a 0/1 and 2/2 on the Battlefield. One dies from Bolt, the other is blocked to death.

Mentor is damage output, Voice is Value-Town.
So different tools for different goals.

I thought of a Hatebearish approach along Thalia, Guardian of Thraben.
This could even be a good starting point for building zoo on a budget

Looks like Zoo has a new utility Beater.
Seems to be most impressive in Landfall-Lists along knight of the reliquary and Steppe Lynx.

9th - 64th Place
Plated Geopede along Knight and Steppy Lynx, just like in the old days

Lightning Helix and Path to Exile:
I'll try 2 and 2. Think that fits better.

I'm still tweaking my Maindeck and Sideboard for Bushwhacker Zoo, so i got 2 questions:
nowadays?
Thoughts?

With 18 and 19 i took many more mulligans.

i'm sleeving up Bushwhacker Zoo right now and got 2 Slots remaining for 3CMC Cards.
I'm considering the following Cards:
whereas Fanatic is my favorite pet.
Domri looks great, but seems a bit slow right now.
Woolly and Smiter are solid, but lack Trample and / or Haste, which i predict being mandatory.
