I'm on the fence, I've enjoyed playing BW processors since BFZ first came out, then emerge made me want to try U/G Eldrazi tempo, and now Delirium and madness is making our baby BW processors look soooo well positioned. I think the big add for our deck from EMN (if there is one) is eternal scourge although I'm still not completely sold on him. My current list is running 3 scullers which (alongside TKS and IOK/TS) wrecks the opponent's hand. But I could see dropping the to try the scourge. I may still dip into U/G for a test though. Moving away from processors during what looks like an impending age of GY decks may be dumb but I love brewing, and Elder deep fiend, wretched gryff, and lashweed lurker all look sweet alongside matter reshaper and ancient stirrings

In terms of survivability: no, they both die to just about anything and sculler has the added negative of powering up goyf by virtue of being an artifact (although maggot does this as well being an enchantment). That said, on attack I've found the difference between 1 power and 2 to be pretty substantial in terms of a clock. Also, Goyf is pretty weak to our strategy already due to 4 relics and lots of removal/discard/big creatures. Lastly unlike maggot, due to the wording on the card, Sculler can combine with displacer or a poorly timed removal spell from an opponent unfamiliar w/ the card to permanently exile a card from their hand. I think the two cards are roughly interchangeable but I am not playing the land toolbox so getting BW by turn 2 hasn't really been an issue for me, and if mana is no longer an issue I feel Sculler is better if you want this sort of card in your deck.

Haven't been posting for a while due to lack of time but still very much on this deck. Played in a small modern event yesterday and went 3-1 winning against Abzan midrange, zoo, and Knight tribal but losing to Abzan coco. I still think the deck has power but have noticed that it doesn't seem to be putting up results at a more competitive level. I am not sure why this is, as I would think that the more successful bant versions suffer from being a four color deck (although I'm sure birds and noble help w/ this considerably). The power of this deck I have always felt is that it is able to play so much md hate as part of it's natural gameplan while still functioning as a viable midrange deck. But maybe this strategy is not as viable in a larger metagame than my own? Or perhaps there just isn't a significant amount of people on the deck. I will say that I have gone back on the sculler plan and upped my colored lands dropping any sort of land toolbox or ramp from mind stone/map. My creatures sometimes come out a little slower but between sculler and TKS I sure do enjoy tearing my opponent's hand to shreds.

Very frequently, there are 14 sources of each color in the deck, w/ 12 of those sources being able to tap for either of your two colors. t2 sculler into turn three strangler is a very common play for me against zoo or infect. I'm a big fan of sculler but I do think it's playability is proportional to the amount of burn and midrange in your meta. It is good in scenarios where your opponent either a) doesn't have removal or b) has only one removal spell which the sculler can take. Against decks that tend to a whole grip of removal spells it's usefulness plummets drastically. I should also mention about my sb that it normally contains at least two copies of celestial purge, but w/ the two skred players not showing up as frequently there are less blood moons and I've been taking it out.
I've actually been looking at Arbiter for a while too (it would likely replace sculler as the two drop) with 4 PTE and no trouble moving up to 4 GQ it seems like a powerful option w/out affecting our own gameplan too much. My only concern would be that it nerfs our own surgical extractions which have been essential for me against tron, although arbiter and GQ seems good against tron too.

Some notes:
My meta is a lot of aggro and combo w/ some control. There aren't a lot of other midrange decks and there is only one burn player (though there are a couple skred decks). This means that sculler is really really good in my meta but I know it hasn't been as good for others so i think it's a meta call. I'm running 17 md exile effects and 5 more in the sb so having process fodder is rarely a problem. I've found this deck is already pretty good against infect but the spellskites help seal the deal. Against tron board in the 4th GQ and the other two surgicals and hope that between your discard and your extractions you can keep them off it. I have never really liked the expedition map/land toolbox decklist but that's a playstyle preference more than me thinking one way is better than the other. Anyway this is what I've been playing since the ban and it's been really solid for me, but since I only play paper I can't say how it would do in a larger meta. Always grateful for feedback and let's keep on making this deck the best it can be!

RIP is not good in this deck, it nerfs our own souls and more importantly is a dead draw later in the game that (unlike relic) you can't cycle away. Don't ge me wrong I think it's a great card for the sb in other decks. But as someone who did a lot of testing w/ it I feel I can say that relic is strictly better. The only time I can see RIP being good is in the SB if your meta is infested w/ gy decks that can all run stony silence.
Displacer is worth a slot, but probably just one, worst case scenario he's an early body that blocks aggro and pressures control and tron, and then every now and then he drops late game alongside a strangler, TKS, or sculler and just ruins the opponent's life.
@Deaddrift, I only rarely find myself w/ a processor in hand and nothing to process but I am playing A LOT of exile effects. I can post my decklist when I get home. Even w/ all the exile outlets I run I still sometimes draw a dead herder, and when that happens I think the right play is usually just to cast it anyway. It depends on the matchup though.

Going to a SCG States Championship this weekend, and could use some advice on my decklist so far. Did alright at FNM, but hoping it does well in a larger scale.
Looks pretty solid to me, I personally don't like expedition map but I see you're running the land toolbox so they are probably necessary. I might play Flaying Tendrils over languish since it comes down earlier, exiles, and can leave our seers alone late game but I'm not positive about that and I think it depends what you think you'll be up against. If you just want a straight-up sweeper Damnation or Day of Judgement are better. All in all looks like a nice list that can stall w/ early removal until you can start getting your eldrazi out. Good luck!

Temples and seers are the big ones since I can't see them not being a 4-of regardless of how you build your deck, I would also say x4 PTE is essential. Other than that numbers vary, and strangler and herder will probably stay fairly cheap so you can experiment with numbers at your leisure. If you already have all the pieces of BW tokens you're a good way there. Glad to see more people picking up the deck, it's a good one

I love that the BW Processor is back. Anybody have success with BW Processor with Displacer? (I can test it when I get mine in the mail) I feel like it is spicy with Wasteland Strangler or Thought-Knot Seer.
I've been running displacer as a 1-of, it's good w/ strangler, TKS, sculler and locking down opponent's attackers in the late game. The rest of the time it is an early body against aggro or eats a bolt. All in all I don't think it's an integral part of the deck and is probably replaceable w/ something else, but it's been good to great for me enough games that I like having 1. Basically worst case you get an early blocker, best case from turn 5 on you use it and a sculler to lock down their drawstep for the rest of the game.

I really liked playing 4 of tidehollow sculler before OGW came out when I dropped them. But t2 sculler into t3 strangler is as awesome as you think it is. The spot where I would run scullers is currently 2 md spellskite and 2 md surgical extraction. I like skite as early defense and md hate and I like the extractions to get surprise wins against combo in game 1, get information about the hand, and put lots of cards into exile. Since day 1 of this archetype I have not been a fan of expedition map since I feel we are less reliant on getting particular lands and I would rather draw other things, but I could see a couple md copies if people are going for a land toolbox approach.

I agree with what others have said here, I think this ban was actually a boon for BW Processors. We were always less reliant on playing the Sol lands than the aggro and combo versions and with eye gone we can probably just lower our curve and keep on playing a fun midrange deck that benefits from playing md hate. I also agree that I think Westvale abbey is an interesting addition to the deck that makes a good replacement for Eye. I predict that the combo and aggro versions of eldrazi will fall off a bit now and we an the other midrange/processor variants will probably see a slight resurgence as people try to salvage a deck from the ban.
@Bornaban, I was playing RIP in my very first versions of this deck and I ultimately decided it wasn't worth a spot. It makes sure you almost always have something to process which is nice but it shuts down lingering souls (which is one of the best cards available to BW and a big draw to playing this color combo) and more importantly drawing multiples when you already have one on the field sucks. Generally I've found playing 4x relic is a lot better. That said, RIP is certainly a good card and synergistic w/ our processors, and if we move to a meta that is very gy dependent, I could see putting a couple in the SB or maybe doing a md 2-2 split of relic and RIP
