Congratulations! My first question is, 25 lands: were they a problem ever?
No! 24 lands is a problem. I've tried so many times 24 lands, and even with Mind Stones I usually got stuck on 4th mana. This is the best manabase I got since I started with this deck.
As i read through your report, Smasher was awesome right, so why not play 4 Smasher instead of 2/2 with Herder ? Wouldn´t be better a 4th Seize on the map slot ?
Both are great. Against Zoo, Jund and Nahiri Herder is much better than Smasher, for example. And 5 discards I think is enough, I've tried 4 Seizes and 2 CB but draw a Seize lategame is so sad... Also one of the reasons I don't like Sculler, they are weak earlygame and useless lategame. And the deck has a lot of utility lands, so Map is useful to get them. Sea Gate, Vault and GQ has put me back on so many games I thought I lost...
- R1 against Abzan (2-0): Kalitas was the MVP. Even with the nombo with PtE, the deck still runs 7 kills (WS, CB and GftT) and opponent will eventually chumpblock something, and 1 zombie token is just enough to make Kalitas a beast.
Sided in 3 Leyline, 1 Pithing Needle, 2 Ratchet Bomb, 1 Damnation, 1 Grafdiggers Cage and 1 Purge. Sided out 3 Thoughtseize, 2 CB, 4 Souls. Don't know if was a good choice to side out Souls, but I was considering I could handle GY with Cage and Relics, and Souls against decks with Ooze is not very useful. The truth is that Relic and Ooze don't get priority to exile it if you have mana to cast and flashback on same turn, which he did 2 times making 8 tokens. Ratchet Bomb solved it, but still not sure if I had kept Souls would be better.
- R2 against GW Tron (2-0): G1 rushed a T2 Strangler, T3 Thoughtseized a Karn and attack 3, T4 Smasher attack 8, T5 attack 8. He was at 1 life, Collective Brutallity for life swap.
Sided in 2 Disenchant, 2 Ratchet Bomb, 1 Pithing Needle. Sided out 1 GftT, 4 Relics. G2 was much the same, but was attacking him with a Strangler and a Shambling Vent, keeping 1 GQ untapped. I also had a Ratchet Bomb with 1 counter while he was Troned with 2 Power Plant and had 1 Expedition Map, 1 Oblivion Stone and 1 card in hand, at 4 life. He topdecked and played Stirrings, I resp breaking Bomb and he resp saccing Map to fetch his 2nd Tower. I resp GQing his Mine and unTroning him, he adds 7 on pool, find a Karn in Stirrings and play him saccing Ugin's Sanctum to fetch a Wurmcoil, and exiling WS with Karn. My turn I attack with Vents, putting him at 2. His turn he plays Wurmcoil and exiles Vents with Karn, my turn I CB him for lifeswap.
-R3 against Valakut/Breach/Trap (2-1): G1 I mull to 5 keeping a hand with 2 Souls, 1 Eldrazi Temple, 1 GQ and 1 Herder. Next turns I draw Relic, GQ, GQ, Relic, while he played on T5 a Trap on EOT finding Titan.
Sided in 3 Leyline, 2 Disenchant, 1 Grafdiggers. Sided out 4 Relics, 1 Displacer and 1 Souls. Actually never find any SB card on G2 on G3. G2 played Seize T2, TKS T3, Smasher T4, Smasher T5. G3 he mulled to 5, with 2 lands, Sakura, Titan and Breach. He kept his scry on top, so I Seized him on T2, taking off Breach. T3 TKS on Titan, CB on Trap and kept hitting him with TKS while he never got into the 6th land.
-R4 against Affinity (2-1): G1 mulled to 5 keeping a hand with 1 Temple, 1GQ and 2 TKS and 1 Souls. Pretty much G1 against Valakut.
Sided in 2 Disenchant, 2 Ratchet Bomb, 1 Pithing Needle, 1 Tendrils and 1 Damnation. Sided out 4 Relics, 3 Thoughtseize. No way Affinity can beat postSB.
Don't remember much details about the matchs, I don't write notes during the game, I even don't write my life total and let my op do the job, but anyways...
M1 agains Naya Bushwhacker(1-0, 2-1):
G1: lost very quick, around T4 or T5. when I made my first Souls he already had Ape, Nacatl and Guide on table. Double blocked his Guide with both tokens and he Ghor-rampaged him. Tried to CB Guide with -2/-2 and lifeswap but he answered with Atarka Command (which he had 3 on hand) and GG.
+SI: 2 Blessed Alliance, 1 Damnation, 2 Celestial Purge, maybe Ratchet Bomb
-SO: 2 Thoughtseize, 1 Ob Nixilis, maybe I sidedout Relics and AU too
G2: Don't remember much, but at 3 life I established my board and with Sorin or Vault I could turn the game.
G3: He opened with Guide, T2 Emissary> Bushwacker. I was at 9 life and had in hand 1 Souls and 1 Damnation. T3 chumplocked 2 creatures, he played a Nacatl and another creature and had no cards in hand. I Damnated him on T4, and he kept drawin lands while I played some Eldrazis and gained life with Sorin.
Considerations: Timely Reinforcement is better than Blessed Alliance, but I will keep trying with Blessed, just because there was at least 2 guys playing Boggles and Blessed is better against it.
M2 against Merfolk(2-0, 4-2):
G1: kept a slow hand with almost no removals, got trampled.
+SI: 2 Ratchet Bomb, 1 Pithing Needle, 1 Flaying tendrils, 1 Damnation, 2 Disenchant, 2 Blessed Alliance
-SO: 2 Thoughtseize, 4 Relics, 1 AU, 1 Ob Nixilis, 1 something
G2 and G3 almost same as against Naya. Many times I had to GQ my flooded lands to stop his islandwalk ability and that was enough to stop him.
M3 against Nahiri UWR(2-1, 5-4):
G1 won, G2 and G3 lost. G2 was beaten by a Snapcaster army while being hit by like 6 Lightning Helix. On G3 I sided wrong, uping 2 Blessed Aliance, cause I remember someone saying up in here that "it may be good against Emrakul", but it does nothing against Emrakul, cause normally Emmy doesn't attack alone (mostly together with a Snap or a Colonnade) and what hurts more than 15 dmg is annihilator, which BA doesn't stop.
Considerations: What some specs told me after the game is that I should've sided out some Relics against him. I disagreed in a first moment, but reconsidering again there were times when he had nothing on grave and I was saccing 2 Relics to draw nothing...
M4 agains Some kind of Esper Control(3-1, 7-5):
The guy had his own list, with Finks MD and Resto Angel, Ravnics's Jace and Spreading Seas.
G1: lost, don't remember much but he screwd a little on lands and I tried to GQ a nonbasic believing he didn't had another basic. He fetched his land and followed by 3 Colonnade.
Well, didn't know what he was playing.
+SI: 1 Pithing Needle
-SO: 1 Ob Nixilis maybe
G2: Could stomp him with TKs and Smashers.
G3: don't remember much but I believe I had some discards, TKs and Cavern of Souls, which was enough.
M5 against Living End(4-1, 9-5):
Well...
By the end of G1 the opponent wasn't very happy by facing MD Relics, and he was like throwing his cards to graveyard.
In G2 I answered one LE by saccing Relic. He had another in hand and suspended, which I processed with Herder. When he tried to play the last one, he didn't find it on cascade cause while he was throwing cards on graveyard during G1, it slipped down the table.
Happens.
M6 against RG Valakut(5-1, 11-5):
G1: I Seized him on T1 and he had Sakura, Courser, Bold, Explore and lands. Discarded Sakura. Followed by he playing Courser on T3 and playing with topdeck revealed, which I could control with GQ and Paths. Stomped him with Souls + Sorin.
+SI: 2 Memoricide
-SO: 1 Ob Nixilis, 1 Relic maybe
G2: Opened a hand with Seize, Memo and 5 lands. Drew a Seer I played on T3 and T4 Memoricide for Scapeshift. Again I could handle his top with his Courser and Played 2 processed Herders. GG
Considerations: I'm still not sure over Memo or Surgical. Memoricide is slow, but hits what you need. Surgical needs many requirements to work, but it's instant speed makes a difference. I didn't sided in Memoricide against Nahiri for it's cost, while Surgical could have been better.
Top 8 lost to same Nahiri on G1 by 1-2.
Finals was this Nahiri agains Bant Eldrazi. Bant Eldrazi won.
Last consideration:
I firmly believe that the secret of success for this deck lies in the flex spot. This time I tried Ob Nixilis, for it's a 2 for 1 (kill and draw) and actually cast him only once agains Nahiri while the game was already won.
While he isn't that much, what to put on his place? 3rd Smasher? 4th Herder? Eternal Scourge? Batterskull? Endbringer? Expedition Map?
Another thing that bothered me was Sea Gate. I almost never activated it, and I'm considering change it for that new land that everybody draws and discard. Or for another Cavern of Souls, the card that made Bant Eldrazi win the Top8.
Well, then it might wotk. Before Eye's ban (and probably before OGW release but not sure), I saw a guy playing an UB Eldrazi processors, running Ashiok and Sire of Stagnation. If I'm not mistaken he made top4 on a 30 playes tournament with the deck. Maybe you can fit Ashiok in your deck, besides helping processings she's amazing only by herself. Maybe on RIP spot.
And isn't Serum better than AV?
Just came back from a 17 players tourn, got 1st place playing the list above, exchanging 1 Displacer for 1 Endbringer and 2 IoK for 2 Collective Brutallity.
Round1 played against Burn, G1 made TKS on T2, Smasher T3 and Smasher T4. G2 made CB on T2 upgraded by discarding a Souls, and discarded a burn and killed Mulan, following Souls on T3 and Herder T4.
Round2 against RG LD. G1 he mulled to 5, I made T2 TKS, T3 TKS, gg. G2 he broke 4 lands, but I stablished with a dual and a Temple, being able to killing his 2 Arbor Elfs with 2 Stranglers. At one moment, he was at 4 life and had only a Baloth, I had only a Smasher and a CB in hand. I played upgraded and gave -2-2 to Baloth and swap 2 life. GG.
Round3 against a Seancè IDFK what that deck was about. I know G1 Relic made it's job. G2 sided out all Ligering Souls and end up being finished by a Reveilark. G3 came back with 2 Souls MD, opened with a TKS on T4, Sorin T5, levelup Sorin til 6 and Sorin Emblem won the game.
Round4 split with the other guy 3-0, dunno what he was playing.
Last considerations:
Don't know about Endbringer, he never showed up. Maybe Ill be trying something else on this spot.
CB has won me 2 games. Amazing card!
I'm pretty sure the manabase on a esper build will screw amazingly. Playing bw i'm often screwed... consider the deck will be now 4c, wubc.
Back to the bw processors, I've been testing it on Cockatrice for the past few weeks and was like 20-2, and IRL played a 50 players pptq opening 3-0 against Nahiri, Grixis control and Zoo and losing the next 3 rounds to Zoo and 2 Junds, mostly by misplays made by myself. I was confident with the list, but this last week I'm constantly screwing and having bad draws... played a bigger pptq on sunday and on first match on both games opened with 2 lands 1 mindstone and in 5 turns never drew the 3rd land... on match2 same, and at one moment i had 2 lands on table (swamp and urborg) and in hand 3 stranglers and 4 paths... and I play 25 lands instead of 24.
Better believe I was just unlucky.
Just to register my experience with the deck:
- I really don't know if I want to play Smasher on this deck. He's great for an aggro strategy, but Processors isn't an aggro deck. If everything goes ok, and by this I mean resolve a Relic and have cards to process, Herder seems much better than a Smasher.
- Reshaper I also found very weak, at least on this build. Aparently he does nothing but die and give you a draw or a ramp.
- Displacer is amazing against Infect and Affinity, but on other matches he doesn't do much and has a target on his head.
- Most of the times IoK won't take off that card that will f*** your life (CoCo, Scapeshift, Ad Nauseam, Kalitas, Cryptic). So I'm really considering changing it for a Collective Brutality. Probably the worst part on it is that now Ill have a target for their Snares, but at least now I don't have an endgame dead draw.
- Talking about endgame, I'm trying hard to fit Endbringer in this deck. Probably will cut Displacer and Smashers to add him.
- I'm running 1 Anguished in this list for like 1 month and until now I never drew or casted it, so I really don't know if he is worth or not.
- I don'know how you guys can play with 24 lands. And I run so many utilites lands that's hard to find one to cut.
On SB:
- Used to run 3 Disenchant, changed to 2Celestial Purge, and moved back to 2 Disenchants as Purge don't break Leylines.
- Moved from 2 Surgicals from 2 Memoricides. With Surgical, I have to make the op discard the threat, or kill the threat. Ok, Surgical hits lands against Tron and Valakut (with a cost of a GQ), but Memoricide hits Karn and Scapeshift/ Titan as well. And is much better agains ANT. Anyway, still not sure cause didnt have a oportunity to test it yet.
- I'm running 1 Grafidgger and 1 RIP agains Chords build. Seems enough.
A default open hand IMO must have at least 2 lands, 1 removal/discard and 1 creature. If I mull until I came to this, I'm keeping.
And boggles is a pain, don't know if there's any way we can get through it... explosives, ratchet bomb maybe... also there's a *****ty artifact that creatures your opp control loses hexproof, but that's not worthy a sb spot...
Just came back from a tournament, made 3-1 winning against Death and Taxes (2-0, I did it!!), GR Tron (2-1) and Grixis Control (2-0), losing to Jund (1-0, guy slowplayed 10min to sb...).
Made some small changes in the previous list I posted. I've been testing Eldrazi Taxes this week and I must say, that deck is a crap. But that made me see how the interaction between Displacer and TKS/ WS is amazing. So I changed 1 Kalitas and 1 Doom Blade to 2 Displacers.
Also removed the 3 fetches to run 24 lands with no fetches. Still don't know if it's better, but to avoid Leonins/ Mindcensors that worked pretty well.
Sb removed 2 Timely to add 2 Pithing Needles. Running Leyline and TR is a waste of slot, considering we have Vault, Sorin and Vents in the deck.
Small report:
R1: won D&T first game by chumpblocking with Herder tokens and by blinking WS with Displacer. G2 he had 3 Vials to 1, 2, 3 and 2 lands. Played Needle to Vial and just stomped him with Spirit tokens. Never thought I would say it, but easy game!
R2: lost RG tron first game for he troning on turn 4, with Karn, World Breaker and Ulamog. Won G2 by playing Displacer on T2, TKS on T3. When I TKSd him, he had 1 Ulamog and 1 Firespout, rfg Firespout. Next turn I hit him and pass. After his draw, I trigger Displacer on TKS and, after his TKS draw, he reveals a Karn, a World Breaker and Ulamog, and he had 5 lands. RFG Karn, and triggered again to make him draw a land and RFG World Breaker. G3 I kept with a Needle, a Smasher, 2 Temples, a land and 1 Relic. Made T1 Needle to Map, which shutted down 2 maps he had in hand, but he also had Star, Sphere, Sylvan Scry and Ancient Stirring... still he couldn't find anything. Made Smasher on T3, and drew another Smasher on T4 with a GQ on 1 of his land...
R3: lost first game to 2 Goyfs 5/6 that I could only handle by drawing a Relic too late... after that the guy took like 10 min to SB, read every card on his SB, talked to half of the people in the store, opened his deck 2 times to shuffle and sang Rime of the Ancient Mariner two times... and opened the first hand with his only Night of Souls Betrayal... ended on 5 turns, 1-0 to him, but by the topdecks I probably could turn the game.
R4: Grixis control is a bye. First game I kept a hand with 6 lands and 1 Strangler, and drew 3 lands in a row, which dodged me from 2 IoK and 1 Seize he played on his first 3 turns. ASfter that drew a Lingering Souls that won the game by itself. Didn't side anything, and G2 kept a hand with 5 lands and two anythings, still beat him easily.
Just came back from my LGS after a FNM. Got first place today, and played another tourn on Wednesday, getting 2nd.
Wednesday I played against RG Titan Scapeshift (0-2, so hard to win without an early GQ-Surgical), and won against Allys (2-1, last game he took me to 1 life and milled my deck to 1 card with a blue ally.... won thanks to Worship and his topdeck land), Affinity(2-0, affinity has always been a goodmatch... at least to me) and Grixis Control(2-1, also easy but on G2 I flooded lands).
Today I played against Mardu Control(2-1, game 1 was so quick I didn't know what deck I was playing against, so I didn't sb anything... then lost G2, and G3 sided in only 3 Leyline I think, was enough), Jeskai Nahiri (2-0, easy match, more fragile than the other versions), Griselshoal(2-0), and splitted with a Jund on last round.
Made some changes in decklist: as deaddrift suggested, reduced land count to 24 cutting 1 Marsh Flats and added a second Doom Blade. Also, switch to 4 Strangelrs and 3 Herders as suggested before. The list is doing great, but I'll probably change the 2nd Doom Blade to AU or something...
A deck that I'm having a bad time playing against is D&T. There's absolutely no way I can defeat it. Does anyone has a suggestion?
Tks bros! I'm considering change to 4 Strangler 3 Herder, probably will do it on Friday. Also exchanged 1 SB Timely for 1 Worship. Still not convinced on change DB to Dismember... as said, it's meta dependent.
And yes, even being a "cheap" deck, Eldrazi still solid!
Well, today I played a small tourn with only 3 rounds and 7 players. The field was 2 Burn, 1 Naya Burn, 1 Affinity, 1 UWR Control and 2 BW Processors (a friend of mine, orphan from UW Eldrazi, took my advices and moved on with BW). I went first playing against R1 Burn, R2 Naya Burn and R3 Burn, all 2-0. Expedition Map and Vault were the MVP's.
The R2 Naya Burn played against my friend's Processors on R1 and smashed him on 2-0. He was playing Whip of Erebos instead of Sorin, GftT instead of DB and no Expedition Maps, while playing Vault. Also running 3 O-Sowers and 1 Ulamog, with no Smashers. I think he lost to Affinity too and BYE'd.
Probably will play a little bigger (and more versatile) tourn on Friday, so I can give better experience on the list.
Yo guys... been following this thread for a long time, so I decided to finally make my first collaboration and share my experience.
Played Processors for a short time between Summer Bloom's ban and before aggro Eldrazi break with Modern... anyways, after Eye's ban I'm tryharding again with this list for some weeks on my LGS and on Cockatrice, and I'm very satisfied with results... I'm beating almost all decks in format (used to beat Tron before Eyes ban, but I didn't play against none since I made this list... still confident).
Considerations:
- I'm running 25 lands for I don't wanna get screwed and I have so many utility lands that is hard to cut something to go 24. Anyway, rarely flood.
- I'll never play without Marsh Flats... dodges Moon, filters deck.
- Urborg solves the later Marshs that can't find any land and helps to play Kalitas.
- Kalitas is amazing. I had one flex spot on deck, and was having a hard time playing against Melira Company, even with 4 relics. So I exchanged the 3rd Smasher for him, and the guy can win games by himself. Also, helps exiling oponent's grave while giving chumpblockers. Maybe better than BS?
- I don't know why everybody chooses GftT, Dismember or Anguished over Doom Blade. There's no real black threat against this deck. GftT fails on Affinity, Dismember costs 4 life and AU has a restrictive cost + lifeloss. Doom Blade never disppointed me.
- And overall, the lifelink package (Sorin + Vault + Kalitas) is working very well. Many times I could won lost games by playing 1 of them.
I'll probably play two tournaments this week, any news I post here.
Sorry for my bad english!

The list I was running below:
03 Blight Herder
04 Thought-knot Seer
04 Wasteland Strangler
02 Reality Smasher
01 Eldrazi Displacer
Instant(5)
01 Anguished Unmaking
04 Path to Exile
Artifacts(7)
01 Expedition Map
04 Relic of Progenitus
02 Mind Stone
Planeswalker(1)
01 Sorin, Solemn Visitor
Sorcery(8)
04 Lingering Souls
02 Inquisition of Kozilek
02 Thoughtseize
01 Bojuka Bog
01 Cavern of Souls
04 Caves of Koilos
04 Eldrazi Temple
03 Ghost Quarter
02 Godless Shrine
03 Marsh Flats
01 Plains
01 Sea Gate Wreckage
02 Shambling Vent
01 Swamp
01 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
01 Vault of the Archangel
01 Pithing Needle
01 Grafdigger's Cage
01 Rest in Peace
01 Damnation
02 Disenchant
02 Memoricide
02 Ratchet Bomb
02 Flaying Tendrils
03 Timely Reinforcements
List:
04 Blight Herder
04 Thought-knot Seer
03 Wasteland Strangler
02 Reality Smasher
01 Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
Instant(5)
01 Doom Blade
04 Path to Exile
Artifacts(6)
02 Expedition Map
04 Relic of Progenitus
Planeswalker(1)
01 Sorin, Solemn Visitor
Sorcery(9)
04 Lingering Souls
03 Inquisition of Kozilek
02 Thoughtseize
01 Bojuka Bog
01 Cavern of Souls
04 Caves of Koilos
04 Eldrazi Temple
03 Ghost Quarter
02 Godless Shrine
04 Marsh Flats
01 Plains
01 Sea Gate Wreckage
01 Shambling Vent
01 Swamp
01 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
01 Vault of the Archangel
03 Leyline of Sancticity
02 Stony Silence
03 Disenchant
02 Surgical Extraction
02 Flaying Tendrils
03 Timely Reinforcements
