I would like to know your opinion on Vile Redeemer. Just as a one or two off, its at minimum an unexpected way to battle board wipes. Also can be a surprise block since I don't believe people are expecting it.
This is iteresting... The question is where to find the space for it? I don't think it worth a slot main deck, But if you are playing in meta full of wraths you can try 2x in side
I have read some comments on Nest Invader . Isn't Scion summoner infinitely better? The difference between 2 and 3 drop on this deck isn't relevant imo, the goal is always to cast a 3cmc on turn 2, also the scion is a 1/1 and we're able to fetch him with stirrings.
I think invader is better exactly because of the 2cmc, so castable when out of temple. This (like stone or talisman bdw) allow to ramp even if the lands are not so good as we hope. On the contrary, if the temple spots I always prefer to cast a reshaper or an obligartor instead of summoner.
Hi guys did you see the new infernal judgment from m19? It should become a huge problem... Do you think it's time to include (maybe into sb) more colored creatures? Maybe something like rhonas to switch with smashers?
1: mardu pyromancer 2-1
G1 I kept a bit slow hand but he was very very fast to flood the board with tokens.
G2 Koz return clear the way for my dudes
G3 was perfect for me. turn 1 temple mimic, turn 2 temple TNS, turn 3 smasher.
2: a strange mono black control deck 2-0
G1 I almost died from an ensnaring bridge but hopefully I choose to double the kessig wolf run. she allowed my bop to pass the bridge for the win.
G2 he slowed me with some discards but didn't find the bridge so reshaper and obligator did the work.
3: mono blue merfolk 2-1
G1 he started like a rocket and literarly flooded me
G2 and G3 anger of the gods was MVP winning me both games
4: jeskay control 0-2
G1 I start good but not enoght to close the game before jace coming.
G2 he bolt/pte my early creatures. then he fliped azcanta that filled his hand with counters and I didn't see any cavern.
5: foretold living end 2-0
G1 a turn 3 TNS removed his cascade spell and he didn't draw another in time
G2 an early scavenging ooze removed many of his creature from grave so he was not able to be really dangerous.
Beyond the good result the deck was really really fun.
Now I am questioning how to find the cavern against counter dense deck, because it seemed they are extremely hard to beat without. maybe some sylvan scrying somewhere could help. Did anyone try something this way?
Hi
Did anyone try Rhonas the indomitable? I think a big indistructible guy is good. The attac limitation is easy to overcome. Also is a good target for BBE.
What do you think?
Hi guys! I'm new here!
I recently switch form eldratron to rg. I play the standard list with 4x eldrazi mimic instead of BBE. I think it allows some breacking starts and I don't like that much the elf randomic cascade.
What do you think about her? I saw she is played in almost every list. Do I miss some point?
Bloodbraid Elf is pretty much an auto-include with the deck now. The deck doesn't have much active card advantage, but it does have a lot of inherent card advantage with the Eldrazi creatures. BBE is one of the ways to get card advantage and really overtake the opponent in the midgame. Casting cards for free is always good, so why would you not want to do that? Eldrazi Mimic is good in some cases, and can help for some fast starts, but I'd rather be drawing Bloodbraid Elf anytime after turn 3 than drawing Eldrazi Mimic.
Eldrazi Mimic won me a lot of game till now. I made some test on line with Bloodbraid Elf and cascade on bop or talisman is not so good. But Maybe I'm a noob and I can't pilot the deck properly XD.
Anyway I agree that a top deck mimic is not what we want to see.
