In case the name of the set didn't already tip you off, this isn't a set full of Modern staples. The Modern-playable cards are mostly cheap commons/uncommons, other than Wrath of God and Heritage Druid (HOLY ***** THAT THING IS AN UNCOMMON). Buy it for Legacy or drafting, not for Modern.
(P.S. I didn't write "buy it for Vintage", because no Vintage player likes new borders )
An Eternal-focused set doesn't have to be all Eternal staples. They put Doubling Season in MM just for the casual players.
That said, there is some chance that we will get cards that are simultaneously Legacy staples AND Modern staples, although the overlap is kinda slim and many of those cards have already been reprinted.
This set isn't designed for Modern, so I don't expect many Modern staple reprints. I mean, if you look at both MM sets, there were only like 5 cards which were Legacy-/Vintage- but not Modern-playable:
