Same here, Decay is looking more appealing with that annoying little new Teferi out.
Elderspell is a bit too conditional for my tastes and gets blown out by literally every counterspell that UW might run including Spell Snare. The sorcery speed is a major drawback. Trophy, Pulse, Decay. Running Choke in my sb right now but it might be too narrow.
UW has gotten so many good toys in the past two years, which is fair enough, but man I hope MH helps us out a bit as well. BBE and Trophy alone aren't going to cut it at this rate.
Three Fields in a three-color deck sounds very risky to me. I don't think Jund wants to be playing Ponza mode like The Rock does as we want to be able to close games a bit faster than that. What did you cut for them?
What a stupid post. Do you go into every primer on decks that aren't doing too hot right now and post the same nonsense?
The Rock is putting up serious results and there are always Jund decks in the US metagame - just look at the SCG lists. I'm assuming you're upset because you spent 2k on a Jund deck and now you can't stop 2-2ing your FNMs. Yeah it sucks, same thing happened to me so I switched to Shadow while I wait for a Jund revival. That's l-
Your list seems fine, and there really is no 'wrong half' of the deck mostly, as Jund is all about playing the most powerful cards in its available colors. That said, Modern's power level has risen significantly over the past few years and one could argue that Jund isn't strong enough to keep up. People still put up results with it though, and that's due to a good amount of skill and practice.
Jund is a true 50/50 deck that forces you to work hard for your wins. Small mistakes will cost you the game, just like that. This can mean fetching for the wrong shockland, discarding the wrong card to Liliana, activating her when you perhaps shouldn't have, forgetting to attack with your manland once, etc..
If your metagame is one of each then Jund should be a decent choice overall, although it might be a bit harder to sideboard for it effectively. Keep at it, it's a fairly straightforward deck on the surface but on a smaller scale making the proper decisions, turn by turn, can be very challenging. Watch Reid Duke play the deck, it'll give you a lot of insight as he's the best Jund player out there.
I got sufficiently inspired by the MKM results to play Jund at a 114-player PPTQ today. I got too greedy against Ponza and Moon wrecked my chances for top 8, but I got 13th overall with a 5-2 result.
Wins: UR Thing x2, UR Breach, Jeskai Control, Merfolk.
Losses: Dredge (went on to win it all), Ponza.
I had a blast. Granted, I didn't run into Tron at all but the meta seems so diverse right now that you can play just about anything.
Keep the flame alive boys.

Wait why am I even getting into this

Yeah, Jaberwocki didn't play any Trophies either in his recent 5-0 list. Guess the card ain't great if there's not much Tron around.

Night of Souls' Betrayal should be decent.

And Kolaghan's Command, Anger of the Gods, Grim Lavamancer, Ancient Grudge... Mana requirements really aren't the issue for Jund.
