I think the 4 bauble and 2 faithless looting package in conjunction with street wraiths and thought scour is the better option for turn two. I don't think that the stitcher's supplier really adds any value to the deck
It adds value because you get a 1/1 attacking or blocking on turn 2.
The only cards that you should cut for bolt if you want to play them are the 2 flex slots. Cutting anything more seems a little loose to me. Opt/Sleight vs. Bolt is more of a meta dependent thing and it's only like 2 slots so don't worry about it too much. I'm currently back on the bolt version and it's been fine.
Also I notice the Shatterstorm in your side. How often are you able to cast the card? I cut anger from my side a while ago because I always hated having to look for double red, but more importantly how consistently are you able to hit 4 mana on 4?
Edit: Just noticed you also have strands. If you are going to run double red spells then I would recommend adding a second Steam Vents for the situations that the only fetches you draw are Strands.
Hey! I haven't seen many affinity decks in my lgs, so I haven't actually been able to cast it yet and am considering replacing it for something like rakdos charm. But from my experience with the deck, double red on turn 4 is rough.
Can you share your version with bolts?
Yesterday I was thinking about what to cut for opts and bolts and couldn't come to a conclusion. One of my thoughts was going down to 18 lands, leaving one slot.
The other was kologhan's command, I currently run 2 and I think it's sometimes to slow and awkward when I have two of them in my hand.
I was thinking of replacing 1x Watery Grave or 1x Flooded Strand 1x thoughtscour and 1x street wraith with 1 extra bolt and 2 opt.
Running 18 lands and 6 cantrips and two bolts.
Or maybe 1x terminate to the sideboard and replace one of those with bolt.
One question that crossed my mind, how many of you are running lightning bolts and versus what is it better against?
I'm currently playing one bolt and thinking on playing more, they might help against some matchups like burn, aggro decks, jeskai control and grixis shadow mirror.
Opinions?
I run 3 denial mainboard (mostly because of burn) and 1 extra in the side. Don't know if this is right or if I should just play 2 main and 2 sideboard.
I really like the card.
Can someone help me with the matchup vs burn?
How do you usually play against it?
I sideboard out street wraith and brutallity in, also flashfreeze and a negate. And didn't see any of them and lost the other day 2-1.
The match that I won, I thoughtseized, inquisition and snapcaster inquisition.
The last match, on the draw (that I lost) I kept a hand something like: snapcaster, denial, denial and two lands. And got a beating. Should I be mulliganing for the discard or the cards that I sideboarded in?
Can someone give me their insight on this?
Don't dmg yourself and build up your board with delve creatures. If they burn you down consistantly, drop your DS and win. Basically Burn should collect their Burn spells and win within one turn. But thats where counters and discard help a lot. I would just try to find an early delve threat and discard their paths to not be able to deal with it and then preserve life totals as much as possible and remove all threats they have. Burn is not that hard in my experience.
Okay I'll focus more on getting the delve creatures in.
Any sideboard cards that are good vs burn and other midrange decks?

It adds value because you get a 1/1 attacking or blocking on turn 2.
Anyway, how are peoples resolts post BBE and Jace. Any changes? Has anyone gone to torunaments? What were your results?
Flooded strand or another black mana fetch like verdant catacombs?
Algo, 12 fetches or 11? What are you guys running?
Anyone? I'm deciding weather to buy Liliana of the veil or the 4x scalding tarn instead.
I'm still missing her in my list and I'm wondering how good/necessary she is.

Try not to street wraith and let them get your life total down before going for the kill?
