Thanks for the reply. You are correct, I don't want to paint anything, simply gloss the rose. I considered foil but I haven't found anything on how I could achieve that either. I just think it would add a nice touch to a card I think is pretty neat.
I was thinking about the possibility of masking off the rest of the card (maybe use a damaged copy or a 1:1 printout to create the mask so as not to damage the original when cutting it) and then using a high gloss clear coat spray.
I want to alter a card very slightly. I want to alter Mana Short so that the flower petals, and possibly the stem, are high gloss while the rest of the card stays matte. I've never altered a card before and would like to know how I can do this. I have some artistic talent so this should be quite simple. I also don't want this to create an unlevel surface on the card. Please let me know what method I can use for this.
EDIT: If you're unfamiliar with the card, the newest printing changed the art. All others were a rose with a petal falling.
