I love the idea. But without devotion which I don't use anyway. Think about dryad arbor together with dungrove elder. Turn 2,3 creatures, 1 of them 4/4 hexproof seems really funny. Arbor is a forest too. If you use some fetches, you van tutor your creature too
Dungrove elder is not so good anymore against control like in the past because of terminus.
Dungrove dies to Verdict and Wrath just the same and doesn't come out soon enough for the mana difference to matter. Please elaborate what you mean. I definitely agree the game plan for control is different than it was pre terminus builds but Dungrove does the same thing.
no it doesn't do the same. If you played dungrove in the past, it was a must answer. So they tapped out VS. You and the last damage I often do with haste and sometimes + rancor on it... Now it happened as example 3 times opt into terminus against me. If you have this experience, you will think the same. By the way, even in the past dungrove was not sure in our deck, why it should be after now 2% more worse maybe?
Still same bad card. Adding an extra maybe possibility at 4 mana doesn't change anything. You can add a third mode for 6 mana and mode number 4 at 8 mana... It stays bad. You play red? So use bolt for 1 mana. Kills creatures and walker for only 1 mana
It is bad, beginning of story. Scenario 1: you can't use it because no creature with counter. Scenario 2: you can use it and trade 2 card (spell and creature) to kill 1 scenario 3: enemy creature, as example gurmag, is to big. It is bad, end of story.
Unravel the aether has nothing to do with preventing abilitys. Unravel you have too in your side, no matter if needle or revoker. If i play revoker and they path it, so i am happy, 1 path less means 1 creazure is safe more...but if i needle and they dont have jace, so its useless and you spend a card and gain nothing. again, they have 2 jace only and this is not a solution against terminus. Siding out creatures vs. Control for narrow Cards is Bad in a creaturedeck like stompy. We need pressure
Maybe phyrexian revoker is better, because with body for pressure too if they dont have jace in Hand. They play only 2 jace, neans Chance they dont have it is big, so needle can be useless. It is not important it cost more mana, because we have time till jace. Another reason is, it stops mana abilitys like kci too, but needle not...same vs ad naeseum artefacts. Sorry for my english
Part of the rationale for wanting that third one drop was to have reliable ways to double evolve E1 on T2. By replacing creatures that enter the battlefield bigger than 1/1 with another creature that enters as a 1/1 you wind up with a majority of your one drops... not being big enough to evolve your (other) evolvable 1-drops.
That's the problem here. An E1 and two Narnams can be a swinging 3/3 on T2 with 7 power on board. An E1 and two Peltys ... is just a 1/1 swinging on T2 and 3 power on board.
mostly people on this Argument plays spells instead, but spells dont evolve too your creatures. I played today again and win all matches, it is the first time since so many Years i am not an underdog with this deck anymore
I think it's enough time after the release of Pelt Collector to add him to the primer. What is everyone's consensus about the card? Should he replace Experiment One in the basic list? Or is it more of a Vines of Vastwood/Blossoming Defense situation?
I would love to hear your opinions!
no replace, together!! Since several Years we cry about needing another 1 drop lowering curve to be more agro...now we have it and should replace only?
