I swear I saw a New Challenge Everyday discussion thread at some point, but I don't seem to see it now for some reason, so I'll just post this here. I hope that's ok.
@Raptorchan: Clue tokens for everyone! It's a Cluestravaganza!
The problem is that your card goes infinite with itself since it gets a counter every time it investigates, and investigates every time it gets a counter. As soon as your card entered the battlefield you would lose for starting a loop you couldn't break (at least I think that's how the rule works). I once made the same mistake by creating a card that had both eternalize and populate.

I almost asked for real comics- based cards in the last CCL. Seems like a fun ongoing project. Are you going to determine mechanics in advance?
Well, I was going to make it far more casual than that. The challenges would be as simple as, "make Iron Man". I'm not really looking to make a set per se, just some cards from the MCU. I was thinking of it more as a series of contests than a "project". If I was looking for a project, I would've posted this in the custom set thread. I would certainly be open to the possibility of a more formal "project" stemming from the casual contests though. My problem is that I don't have much time these days.
BTW, would anyone be opposed to me both hosting and participating in these contests? I could potentially cheat by voting for myself, but I promise not to. If needed, perhaps void_nothing would be willing to confirm that I am not indeed cheating? If he was willing of course. Of course I'd still be willing to act only as host if people had a problem with this.
Edit: Or I could handle voting similarly to the DCC and just have it done out in the open as opposed to a poll. I'd prefer a poll though.

I've been thinking about running some contests to design cards for a black-border MCU set. I'm thinking I would periodically post a thread asking for a card that represents a particular character, event, artifact, etc from the MCU. I would then give participants a week or so to enter, followed by a week or so of public voting. Would anybody be interested participating in something like this? It would be a bunch of individual contests, so there wouldn't be any long term commitment for anyone.

I really like the idea of a team contest. I've never really participated in any of the contests outside of Club Flamingo and the main three, so I'm not really sure what a team contest would look like. I've put a bit of thought into the idea over the years, but I can't say I've ever come up with anything that seemed that great to me.
