Seething Song is not Modern legal. I would look to Planebound Accomplice for silliness. Throw in a nice Cloudstone Curio for sustainability in a superfriends like list.
Even a T3 Chandra is still not killing you by the time most other decks are. I really don't see the issue when other lists are sporting very fast and difficult to interact with wins. Other lists are playing an 8/8 trample on T2, but instead of making sense they're milling you. Other lists literally have that many resources and that same deck has been seen putting 100 power into play on T3. This emblem is a joke by comparison. Tired of Hogaak comparisons? How about free 4/4s? Multiple 3/2 flying haste for free? T1 Blood Moon? T4 Lattice Lock? T3 Liberated? It goes on and on, but they print something that isn't free, isn't graveyard, and isn't linear and people gush about how it's too strong and you have to be able to interact with it.
All that said, I'm still a control player, I'm still going to be killing people with these emblems. Why? Because if control can manage getting to a safe board state by T6, then they deserve to win and you don't deserve an out- that's the advantage gained for going slow. Not to mention it probably takes a good 4 turns to win anyway; realize that many decks could start the turn you play her and win faster.
Ah, I missed that it was Banned in Modern. That said, it is still relatively easy to get out, particularly if your deck is built to stall. That said I don't think it will be in issue in Standard or Modern. In Oathbreaker however, it might.
It won't really be an issue in my preferred format of commander though, mostly due to the higher starting life total, but it will possibly see some decklists that play red.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
I would think at 6 mana, if her emblem is a danger to you, you're probably going to die anyway. Right?
It's possible to get her out on turn 3 in Modern and Oathbreaker, without issue. So unless your opponent is running blue and is keeping mana open to counter, she'll get off at least one activation, likely more. Once your opponent has the emblem, all you need to do is play defensively/stalling, which is not hard to do either.
remember the first line: she can't be countered.
So your opponent should be using counters for activated abilities if they want to dodge the emblem.
Good point. Then your opponent is FUBAR'ed on turn 3. A turn 3 Desperate Ritual into Seething Song into Chandra. Activate Emblem to start the clock, and play cards that slow down your opponent (such as with walls, annoying enchantments/artifacts, and lots of creature removal), and you're golden.

So mythic Chandra is really good, right? The ability to put an actual clock on the opponent has to be incredibly good. Even getting a couple of activations puts at least a ten turn clock. I know that doesn't sound like much, but an eventuality like that for control has to be good.
I am thinking she is going to get banned in Oathbreaker due to that ability.

I can't say I like the art on the uncommon and rare Chandras. Well made, but her face looks horrible and the fire looks more like cotton candy...
On the other hand, if they are trying to push red away from "red rush" and "red deck wins" strategies, I'm all for it.
They are Chandra at younger ages, Uncommon is her shortly after sparking, rare when she's a late teen, Mythic is her as an adult. All are while she is at the Monastery. It's pretty obvious progression. So of course the art is going to reflect that.
Honestly I like them. It looks like they're going to focus on her back story this set, and I am all for it.
