Yes, legally they have an obligation. But did you know some people do illegal things sometimes? No need to try to school people on the legality when it's already obvious.
Regardless of any agreement, when you promise something in a certain time frame and then postpone it, people will be disappointed and some will act in a less than ethical manner in response.
We already know it's breaking their contract or w/e. Obviously. This site has featured Magic leaks for many years. It's not our first rodeo.
Honestly reminds me a lot of the old "piracy is theft" campaign.
It turned out that the best way to discourage piracy wasn't scolding people, but offering legal streaming services with good quality.
Wotc could learn a thing or two from that.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Uhm, you know there is this little thing called internet right? You know that being anonymous on the internet is really easy right?
Giving half world stores a product and expecting all of them to stay 1 month with thei mouth shut is naive and unrealistic as ****.
Wotc looks like it's stuck in the 90s with their spoiler policy.

I mean they sent the real cards to stores and expect them to be quiet for 20 days? Should have started earlier the spoilers.
