I feel like Damnation serves as extra insurance just in case Portcullis doesnt manage to stay on the field. When it does, we have bounce and targeted destruction.
Im going to go ahead and add 3 Diabolic Intent, since we have no way to fetch the port. Fabricate is nice too, but this has lower CMC and we don't have to reveal what we're fetching, although it does suck a little since were using creatures with evoke, but I still think its better then Fabricate. Nice call equiv
Forgot to make an addition in my last post so am now adding one copy of Demonic Tutor because tutoring whatever you want in the deck is always good in this kind of deck.
And am going to vote to remove one Barter in Blood as that would put us at four sweepers and I don't think the deck needs more than four sweepers.

It also finds Damnation which we actually need since this deck has very few early answers to aggro. And it's a fine removal spell - I don't get what people don't like about this card. End of opponent's turn bounce to sneak our own creatures in after Portcullis is out sounds good to me.

Vote to remove Rusted Relic. Unless we run artifact lands I worry about this being a dead card often with only 14 artifacts to achieve metalcraft. Really only useful in the late game when we know we will have metalcraft.
If I could I would vote out the totem but I can't. I can vote to cancel the +2 on it though. No self annihilator in a low permanent game.

I vote to swap mana leak with counterspell. I make this vote based on the original use of mana leak to protect portcullis. The turn in which we need to protect it is past the point in which mana leak will be usefull to us. If we have dropped the port on turn 4 or 3 even then its probable that the opponent has 5 mana to negate leaks benefit. We already have double blue in clutch and while I understand its use will mostly be in transmuting it, it does have double blue and will be hard cast. I think having the hard counter and playing around it with proper mulligan's and will give the deck greater reach in the long run.

For cutting purposes I vote to cut man-o-war and up venser to 3
I would vote out other stuff but I have already placed a vote on everything else I feel strongly on.
Since things were messed up a bit yesterday everyone missed everyone else's votes and there was no real actual list. I went back and compiled this list, this is the real list taking everyone's votes into account.
I took out the votes to trade Mana Leak with Counterspell because pursuant to GMaD rules we are no longer allowed to trade out cards for other cards.
I also took out the vote to add two more Damnation because that would have put it past the $40 playset rule so can't have four of them in the deck.
I'll vote to:
-Against increasing Venser, Shaper Savant, I just don't think its worth adding anything to anything when were trying to get this done
