The second is guaranteed as a T1 deck that is really good, plus its' mana is better. I would choose #2. However, Eminem is correct, comes down to preference. Eminem was not correct, however, for tying Rihanna to the bed and setting the house on fire.
You literally lose to mulligans. You need as many double accel cards as possible.
I'd add full sets of Street Wraith, Mana Vault, Lion's Eye Diamond & Sol Ring. Wraith increases the percentage of double accels, Vault is another card that double accels, LED's as good as Lotus (only use it after casting Belcher), and Ring can set up a t2 win. all in place of apes.
Look at my Deckbox profile, under the Relentless decks, you find the decks that are strong enough (IMHO) to be comptetitive (Not the Riddlesmith deck tho, havn't imported it yet).
TurboFrog is the weakest one there, as it loses to every deck.
Sorry dude, as long as your playgroup is not running Vampire Lacerator decks, TurboFrog will not be competitive.
Edit: Tested out "A Riddle of Metal" I just didn't have enough card advantage to win on T2/T3. Also, colored mana is a big problem. I don't know if I'm playing the deck wrong, or is it bad.
I am just plain confuzzled to the bone. How does fogfrog lose to every deck there? It was designed against pest.dec and I see no way that a Vampire Lacerator deck could beat it. Lacerators are the red herring you sneaked into their deck, it IS YOUR (as a fogfrogger)'s main win-con. With Rites of Flourishing and Howling Mine, how can they win if the game goes on for long?

Lets keep in mind that this is for FUN! I know the lacerator deck I made isnt the strongest...I made it cause I love sui black. Its kinda why Im gonna have a turbofrog too. Its just for some laughs and sillyness...not who has the most "beast" deck. Also my group doesnt use sideboards so whats in your mainboard is your only solution to any problem

If anyone is intrested in developing this format, please PM me. I really like guilding decks for it. I need help with the banlist mostly
a casual format does not need a formal banlist...it is to be decided by each individual playgroup...what works for one wont necessarily be fine for another

Lens in the MBC list looks odd to me, there's no need to accel at that point.
My Riddler list indeed fizzles more than I thought it would. Update: -2 Recall, -1 Freeze, -1 Pact, -2 Mox Diamond, -2 Island. +1 Renaissance, +3 Thoughtcast, +4 LED.

Each reality is but the dream of another, and each sleeper a god unknowing.
We define the boundaries of reality; they don't define us.
the spark elemental would be sweet but the guide isnt allowed as the creature cant be rare...my buddy is working on a similar deck but hes using raging goblin for goblin grenade and goblin war strike
@hamsta: thank you...this is supposed to be for laughs with friends. I dont want this getting bastardized with a banlist and a concern for a tier 1 deck
/agree
Breaking this format is pretty simply, since many decks posted here are very vulnerable too Chalice of the Void, Meddling Mage, Null Chamber etc - so if you want to be competitve, simply run a Legacy Stax running Chalice or a Fish style deck packing Meddling Mage ... but I doubt this would be fun for anyone, so simply keep it casual
Mage and Null Chamber both refer to cards by name. That breaks rule 4. I did use Chalice in my deck, although it is slower and is likely to cut off some of your spells as well. Which is why I had the Aether Vials as I could lock out 2 while my creatures sneak through with vial.
Seriously this format sounds like some major fun, so if i am to understand this it's Common/Uncommon creatures only but only the one done as many times as you'd like, oh i got one for you, going to NPH
There is a suggested banlist. If people refer to a banlist, they probably refer to mine. I really like this format, and think it has a future, but not without a banlist.
I understand what you're saying. I just believe that in a casual format it should be done as a discussion...part of casual is house rules

Every format must be a Spike format! *foam comes out of Winters mouth*
BEAAAAGH
It's like playing green ramp in Legacy, it might be fun, but at the end of the day you just went 0-3 drop.
Except I went 3-1, my only loss of the four games being a petal Faeries games in which I didn't draw the green leyline. The pest deck I was playing against had no turbofrog hate, so that was fine. Riddlesmith.dec was hard but my blue splash for counters made it fine.

Hope it's satisfactory to you. The riddlesmith MU only was good because I countered or bounced everything he tried to do. I have to say that I am pretty satisfied with this here. Also, game two against Pest.dec, I actually started laughing aloud at my opening hand that contained two Misstep. Ha.

Simply mulligan into FC and some lands, drop it turn 3, win next turn. You probably want to add as much acceleration as possible, but I have no idea what's allowed and what's not.
I'm also not sure if Pyromancer is allowed, but simply swap it for some other UC +1/+X Goblin if it's not.
Maybe also add some Gambles for Food Chain #5-8.
why not just run the ringleaders with some red mana accel

No one even commented on my turbofrog decklist, I feel it's very good and once fine-tuned, it can be a monster.
Anyway! I feel like MTGS and Wizards should acknowledge this. At least give it it's own sub-forum. Me and Winterspring could write primers and stuff. Yeah.

Also the only thing my playgroup is banning right now is glimpse of nature...way too good
