I do agree we need some early card draw/filtering/manipulation (like Ponder, etc)...but that's hard to do in a primarily red deck. I'm hoping Magma Jet can help a little bit, but we can do more.
2 Thought Devourer. donate it, and our opponent's handsize is reduced by four- an opponent with a reduced handsize should be much harder for them to deal with the goodies we're giving up.

My bad on the abyssal persecutor at the time I did that the lands were still place holder, plus bazaar trader reminded me of an old deck I use to hear about that was around about a year ago, it was black red and the win condition was bazaar trader, trading persecutor for an obvious win scenario. Yeah I see now it has no place and I do apologize for that.

Agree that we have too many creatures (especially with Steel Golem) and not enough draw/protection
Vote against Thought Devourer - does too little too late. Our opponents probably won't have more than 3-4 cards in hand by the time we cast this and give it to them anyway.
Vote against Primordial Ooze - I get the sense that this won't do anything in our deck; I like the card, but if we play it early, it will kill us, and if we play it late, it's just weak.
Vote against Coalition Relic - not really ramping much in this deck, and we can just depend on a solid manabase.
Vote against Brand and Enlightened Tutor - there are either better cards for this purpose or they dilute the theme of the deck; they are both gone
with tel-jilad stylus, we can run things that might be dangerous for us and just push it back to our library if we can't seem to give it away. the second our deck has all four traders taken out, we're kind of screwed. it also allows us to put the trader back in our library if someone is going to destroy it.

I agree. If we did around 5 or 6 damage it would be nice because they would have to sacrifice other permanents along with the Tomb. But I don't see the deck doing crazy damage at the moment so it gets a vote from me as well. Coalition also gets a vote from me so its gone
Actually we have a pretty easy way dealing 7 damage in one swing ... eot give away the tomb, next turn cast Bombshell, give it your opp and boom
I don't think that justifies keeping it though. It's still unlikely. And it's not that efficient in this deck. There are better options available to us.

Add: 2 Avarice Totem. this is just another (late game) way of taking something. and with the stylus, we can make it so they can't even have the totem. although if we did give them our totem they wouldn't want to use it for most of our stuff, except our trader (unfortunately), but that's where the stylus comes into play
vote: remove thought devourer. decent card, but it's a 2 slot that our trader competes with. also, too weak in this deck.
vote: remove primordial ooze. getting it out there, and making it effective takes too long.
we'd be better off with sound draw or counter since we're Red Blue
Vote to keep Thought Devourer- Its a 4 drop also. Not a 2 drop. It severely weakens our opponent. It is unfortunately a good beater for them but I don't think its too much of a problem.
