Not sure how to fit it as your build is pretty solid but I'd add two copies of Syphon Mind as in a four player game for four mana you will make each opponent discard a card and you draw three cards that is a pretty good deal.

"STAY CLEAR OF WHITE POWDER"
311 "Who's Got the Herb"

Each card in this deck serves a purpose, and works pretty well in sync. It gets pretty hard for your opponent to deal with so many tokens and big guys at the same time, so you slap down Mageslayer and finish them off in a swing or two. Also, a heralded Hellkite Overlord is about the scariest 4th turn creature ever
Honestly, I would suggest the Herald + Overlord Combo. That, in addition to Thrinax, means you don't really /lose/ anything and you gain a massive flying beatstick that's capable of winning the game outright.
I also cannot emphasize the versatility of Jund Charm enough. It's various abilities are key in a multiplayer situation where you can't predict what the next turn will bring.
Yeah, I LOVE Jund Charm, but I couldn't seem to find room for more than 1.
The main reason I use Rampant Growth > Cultivate is that I kinda like the turn 2 ramp the best, I don't know why I'll try and get some Cultivate though, thanks.
The biggest issue with Dragon Broodmother is that I will be lucky if she survives more than 1 round. The main reason I use Broodmate Dragon is that Broodmate gives me another even-sized body even if she herself dies.
Syphon Mind isn't exactly what I am aiming for in this deck, which is more on-board destruction. Thanks for the idea though, I do love that card
Hey looked at deck again and got to wondering why Birds of Paradise isn't included especially considering that nearly all of your lands only tap for one color of mana the ability to have something that taps for whatever you need looks good.

The biggest issue is budget, though. Birds go for $5+ around here, that's $20 for a playset
The combination of Mycoloth + Predator Dragon = Awesome, I always won with Jund when I played the devour version... devour can work in multiplayer, it's nice, it can kill board stalls.
Broodmate Dragon can turn games around, definately a 4 of.

Are you aware that you have to sacrifice three separate creatures? you can sac the herald itself for the base color, but you'd still need a separate green and a separate black creature (for this shard's herald+creature).

Creating a devour 2 flying token EACH upkeep seems at least worth consideration.

Boy you gettin ripped off!
I got my playset for as much as you're getting 1!
I like this deck. I'd pack more maelstrom pulse though (i know you don't ahve more)
This is my take on the deck. Trying to construct it for my MP group.
Anyway, I'm not getting ripped off so much as you are getting a great deal IMO
Again, I have no moneys for much past a $1-$3 playset... so...
Special thanks to XenoNinja of Heroes of the Plane Studios for the awesome avy!
Broodmate Dragon can turn games around, definately a 4 of.

+1 Jund Charm
Also, the reason for Growth > Emissary is that I would generally prefer instant ramp.

--- Meren of Clan Nel Toth --- Jhoira of the Ghitu --- Prime Speaker Zegana ---
--- Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief --- Ghoulcaller Gisa --- Akroma, Angel of Fury --- Titania, Protector of Argoth ---
Yep, I realize this.
Anyone would like to take up the challenge and update this deck incorporating new cards?
Necro.
