I don't have Stormkirk Captain. Any of them. If I did get them, how many, and replace what with them? And that's why I posted here, was for suggestions.

Also, I have Nirkana Revenant because the deck is more Black than Red.

i would probably add 2-3 stromkirk captains
and get rid of sheoldred (this hurts you alot), and painful quandary

How does Sheoldred or Painful Quandary hurt me. Sheoldred can combo with Anowon and make them sac two creatures per turn. Then Painful Quandary makes them cautious of what cards they should play. I could somewhat see Quandary maybe. But not Sheoldred.

Hey guys! I was wanting to build a U deck around several different cards but I can not seem to get the deck going very well. The deck will be for causal play and I guess you could say on the control side. I am not sure if it would be better to run two colors or just U. What is your suggestions? Here are the cards I want the deck built around: 4x Soul Barrier, 4x Pendrell Flux, and possible even 4x Mana Leak. Any help with this deck would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Hello everyone. I'm getting rekt this effing overly aggresive Red Deck everytime I play. I can't do anything with the POS deck I have (Even considered to thrash it believe me) but I decided to upgrade it. I want to turn this POS deck to heavy counter/milling deck. I need help to do this. Two things I'd say regarding your post:

1- Red fonts are for mods
2- Try to pinpoint which card(s) you'd like to build around. You have so many 1 of out there its hard to even guess what is your deck focus. After you do this exercice, repost and help will come

I know that my deck is confused/disorgenized. As you can see I want to build it into a milling focused heavy counter deck. That's why there is 4 Mind Sculpt and 4 Cancel. I just don't know the cards and I don't know the structure. One of my main strategies is Milling Out my oppenents library while taking advanage of their graveyard. To do that I want to heavy counter my Red oppenent (There are a lot of Reds where I play). The cards I'm focusing are Mind Sculpt, Cancel, Negate and most importantly Redirect for red decks. For Green I don't know possibly with monster destruction like Nullfy and Flesh to Dust

I use to have a Mry deck built and I can not remember everything that I had in it and was considering building another one so I was looking for ideas on a good solid Mry deck. Any suggestions? Maybe after seeing some of your ideas I can remember what I had in mine. Thanks to all who reply!

So I've been out of magic quite awhile, though when I played I played competitive standard and limited. I considered myself a fairly good deck builder, but there have been quite a few new sets since I've last played, and I don't have the time to invest in standard. Luckily my local shop does a weekly casual tournament, and there is this thread to help me out.

I had built this roughly but can't find to give you the whole list. It started when I bought a pack and opened a Civilized Scholar. I fell in love with the flavor of the card and decided to build with it. Before long the deck ended up being built around Splinterfright. The following cards were the core.

My favorite play was typically T1 BoP, T2 Scholar, T3 Splinterfright and begin beating face.

OK, So I am trying to build a deck around villainous wealth. I need some advice on some sort of a budget shell that I could drop 4x VW into. THe shell needs to be playable on its own and have some ramp. Any suggestions are welcome. Right now the way I have it set up is fogs + defenders + a couple PWs, and then the VW, but I'm not particularly happy with anything except the VW and the fogs...

Hey Guys! I am wanting to build a metal craft deck but not having any luck. I know this should be a pretty simple deck to build but every time I have tried this deck, it never works very well so I start over. It has been a little while since I have tried the deck again but I am ready to give it a try and want some help with it. I have been trying to use white to. There is one card I would love to have in the deck since it goes with the theme and that card is Etched Champion. I have tried several decks around that card and it has never worked. Like I said, I know this is probably pretty simple deck to build but I can't get it to work. Can anyone help build this deck? The last set that I bought was Return to Ravnica. If you could keep it between Zendikar and RTR that would be great. Thanks!
