I have always wanted to make a deck featuring Triad of Fates. I understand that it is a slow card but I have always been drawn to cards that have multiple purposes and utilize counters. I want to create something that can use the triad to create a fun game. I don't particularly care what route we go with the deck but making a control deck would be fun. I started playing MTG during the RTR block so I don't have extensive knowledge of blocks past but I'm hoping we can come up with something fun.
Also, I would like to keep this on a budget. I think $100 or less by TCG mid pricing should be fine. Please discuss or suggest the best cards possible, but provide a budget alternative for those of us without expendable cash flows. I'll start with 24 lands at an even split between plains and swamps as I believe this could be a mana intensive deck.
I think definitely we want to add Oblivion Stone as it is the only other card (that I know of) involving Fate Counters. It also allows us to get a Fate Counter onto our "general" which is otherwise impossible!
WE may have to find a way to cheat this on the field due to cost but for a long bounce Angel of Despair could be a nice ETB card to use with triad. Adding x2
Oblivion Stone looks pretty mana hungry to me. Adding a Sol Ring because Mana. Since it has been in pretty much every commander deck it's pretty budget these days. TCG Mid puts a commander Sol Ring at $3.21.

Since we're already at exiling creatures we could utilize a creature that does the same thing. Then we could create a blinking machine for our own creatures. Also, if we exile a creature an opponent controls, we can put a fate counter on Fiend Hunter and blink it with the Triad to change the target of the exiled creature. I know it takes a lot of set up but I think it might be interesting.
Personally, I'm a little worried that we're getting too much stuff that relies on having out Triad of the Fates. I'll add 2 Vedalken AEthermage so we can tutor for them, and any other wizards that might get added later on. We don't even need to add blue to the deck. (Also, wizards get prioritized a little higher as long as we want to keep AEthermage).
I think that having three colors for this deck is going to be to rough on the cost of the deck since we're trying to stay around 75 dollars. To have a successful mana base will cost more than I think we can afford. I think it might be better to stay in black and white with a human sub theme opposed to wizards. That's just my opinion though.
I think that proliferate would be another option to get more counters.
EDIT: I just realized that the search, which is what will be utilized, is colorless. We can an island or two and some evolving wilds to get one if we need it.

Also, Arcane Sanctum. All we'd need is like 2 other wizards (they could even be 1-ofs) for AEthermage to be worth it, and white and black have a decent amount.
I'm going to add a Sundering Titan. Go big or go home. If we're talking about a long game where we're blinking stuff over the course of a couple of turns, then we really need those things to have an impact. He may end up getting cut later due to budget concerns, but I wanted to get people thinking of things like this, because when I think blink there are a few artifacts that come to mind.
Adding 3 Gwyllion Hedge-Mage. Serves as a wizard to search for with Vedalken Æthermage but it has ETB effects that gives us more creatures and possible the ability to kill by minus counters.
I added the Illusionist's bracers as they were in fact dropped due to timing of posts.
Also, I added the cost of each to keep the deck around the suggested cost. We are at $68.03 currently. Please add the cost to added cards based on TCG mid pricing. Also, to keep the cost down, I used the TCH mid price for the commander 2014 sol ring.
I'll add 1 Galepowder Mage as backup Triad (and in some situations, it's what you'd prefer). It's also a Wizard we can search for.
Also, I'm voting to remove 1 copy of Illusionist's Bracers. Personally I think Thousand-Year Elixir is pretty much straight-up better, but bracers is cool. It's just that you'd never want to draw 2, and they don't (at least currently) interact with any other creature.
Voting out an Oblivion Stone- this is going to be a slow deck- between the stone and legendary triads, exploiting the Fate tokens will take a while, and cutting one will open up some budget space.
Voting out the Æthermage- i'd rather have Dimir House Guard to tutor the triad and still be useful if we don't.
I'm going to add 2 Underworld Dreams to exploit the Triads second ability. why not make their creatures go poof, and ping them for the extra draw. At roughly $2.30 average (depending on the set) it shouldn't clog up the budget. i don't see a point to Flickering their creatures without some sort of punishment; i'd rather be rid of them.

Looks like you missed my update, our posts were only a few minutes apart.
Also, yeah, probably agree with you on the Dimir House Guard.
I'm going to vote out sundering titan. I don't think it fits with the theme of the deck. I'm also going to vote out one angel of despair. I think as a one of she's great but the chances we blink her or cast her is low.
I will also vote out both Vedalken Æthermage and add 2 Dimir House Guard. I'd like to stay with a blink theme. I'm trying to find creatures that would create a blink combo but cannot think of any for the life of me.
I'm voting out both underworld dreams. I think this card belongs in a deck that focuses on killing the opponent this way. If the triad actually lives to do anything I doubt we will have this card out to have it happen one time to be effective at all. Just my opinion.
Im going to throw the last vote to oust AEthermage. But I am also going to vot to add one more Dimir House Guard. Were gonna need some cheap blockers or something here for our mana curve.
Also voting out Underworld Dreams. It's awkwardly-costed and making them lose two life every time we want to perma-kill one of their guys isn't worth it.
Also voting out Sundering Titan. Unlike the angel, this card doesn't actually stop you from dying if you're in a bad spot, and 8 mana is just too much.
And finally, voting out 1 Oblivion Stone, it's just too expensive and unreliable of a way to make Fate counters. I can't tell what's going on with the price, though, it looks like we've already calculated it as a two-of.
As for my addition, I'll go with Wall of Omens. We need more defense, and being able to blink it for a card is nice. This puts us a little over, but I'm counting on other cards being removed.
Why are we using a $3.80 Angel of Despair when we could be using a $1.30 Ashen Rider? Since we're already over budget and not even at 60 cards yet, I don't it's one less mana cost matters all that much. Plus, it does something when it dies, too!
