Here's just how I feel about a few of these cards:
Veteran Explorer: Our best ramp, and we've built around it already. Definitely keep. Birds of Paradise: Really good ramp, cheap creature. Probably keep. Solemn Simulacrum: I've already written a bit defending this. If we cut it, I think we should probably find more ramp/card draw to replace it. Symbiotic Beast: Works well with board wipes, makes tokens, works with sac... all-star. Definitely keep. Darien, King of Kjeldor: I don't love this, but it makes tokens and gives us some limited deterrent to attacks. If we cut it, we need more token-making. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite: Removal, pumps our creatures, overall a must-answer powerhouse. Great way to spend our copious mana. Citadel Hierophants: Now this is a card I'd never seen before. Looks like excellent ramp with our tokens. Creakwood Liege: Makes tokens, pumps tokens. I think this is perfect for the token side of the deck, which is why I'd added it. Eternal Dragon: I have doubts we need more big stuff, but I will admit that some evasion would be good after a Biorhythm (heck, it could kill on its own on most boards) and the plains cycling looks decent. I can see it staying. Deranged Hermit: Pure token making. That's what we need, so looks good.
Living Plane: I can see how we can take advantage of it better than our opponents, what with the Liege and ELesh Norn. I like it, but others apparently don't. Admittedly, it's mostly useless once we're behind (unless we play it together with a board wipe or something weird.) Recurring Nightmare: Again, by now we've built around it. Gets rid of Veteran Explorer, re-uses our many ETB abilities, looks awesome.
Biorhythm: Um. Phyrexian Rebirth,Divine Reckoning: I've written a lot previously about these. With what we have, either leaves us in the better position to win, and following either with Biorhythm basically always wins. Altar of Bone: Creature tutor, which i great in a deck that turned out somewhat 'toolboxy'. Also kills Veteran Explorer. I love it, personally. Cabal Therapy: Good, but seems a little weird here. We've enough ways to kill our own stuff. Eh. Someone else's choice. Powerful, I suppose.
Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury: Ramps and adds some much-needed utility, I think. I like it, but 3 might be too many.
I only added City of Brass for Darien; I'd totally agree on taking it out if Darien also gets cut.

I'm not so sure. Symbotic beast + recurring nightmare represents a huge number of tokens. Death titan might be good here as a giant creature that can win some combats while generating tokens. I feel like our number of token generators is fine, but that the quality of token generators is really lacking. I'll add two derranged hermits, though I personall think it should be a four of. I just don't want to put us too close to cutting yet.
The beast is utility, that people will just let be. "It's a 4/4 that just turns into tokens when it dies." bah. Grave Titan is obvious removal bait.
we could run the cheaper Penumbra Bobcat/Penumbra Spider for a better early game, and still give us an edge after a board wipe.
I'm voting out King Darien. He's token generation is nice, but it's better if we built around that more (Elves of Deep Shadow?). That said, also voting out the CoB- when we have Sandsteppe Citadel for fixing. Also, i'd have gone with Caves of Kolios for mana fixing and the option for colorless.
Voting down Freyalise by one- she's great utility, but we need to make room.

Id like to point out that Darien acts as a deterrent and as a token getter... The problem with the deck so far is were not going to be getting a ton of tokens in any certain way.... we have 4-5 token getters all of which are both expensive and have a limited token payout (except Darien who can pump out tokens all day long) Using Darien to get us tokens and gain us life keeps us in the game to use biorhythm.
Just my thoughts but people seem to be determined to kick him out

I personally like him, but he needs to be more than just another token maker. Yes, he's a deterrent, but unless we've got a Biorhythm ready to cast we've still got to worry about our life at least a bit. (Unless we build around him with things like my City of Brass, which people seem to dislike for being bad when you don't have Darien.)
Also: yes, our token makers are expensive and unwieldy (probably one thing we should work on), but we've got the ramp for it and they do other things. Creakwood Liege can turn your tokens into complete beatdown machines, Symbiotic Beast wins games off of wipes and makes tons of tokens with Recurring Nightmare, and Freyalise ramps and gives desperately-needed utility to the deck. The closest to Darien is Deranged Hermit, who isn't that expensive with our ramp, and if we can keep him he's a total one-man army. Darien? Sure, he makes lots and lots of tokens, probably even more than any other... but only if and when we're hit. (Also, the tokens are white, not green or black.)
Again, if we built around him more (I especially like Elves of Deep Shadow, good find Selvaxri! ) I'd love him, but people don't want to keep the supporting bits. I think that his token-making ability overrules his downsides; others don't, and that's why he'll probably eventually get cut.
To whomever votes out Darien: what do we replace him with? We need something cheap that makes tokens, probably CMC < 4, to help our curve a bit for early game and to work with Citanul Hierophants.
To grammar people on these forums: should I have used 'whomever' in the previous paragraph?

All of our token generators can be cast by turn 4 off of a veteran explorer start. As long as we don't go above 6 cmc too often we should have much of an issue. Keep in mind that cabal therapy can also target ourselves to set up for reanimation with recurring nightmare.
I would also like to point out that without even one life gainer on ETB Darien is severely neutered. If we cant maintain life while getting damaged theres no real point I guess because if we let the damage go for creatures and get no life back it puts us in more danger of death by damage if we don't have a Biorythm in hand.
Im not sure if I explained that correctly someone please tell me if they get what im saying
I think that Thraben Doomsayer and co. would by far be our best option if we add ways to untap it. Otherwise, I think that Awakening Zone would probably be better, since it ramps. (Although, it must be noted that only Rhys the Redeemed makes green tokens for Creakwood Liege.)
Also, are we officially at the cutting stage, or have we never technically reached 75?

Adding 2 Phyrexian Processor- spitting out tokens as bug as we allow, giving us more fodder for BioRhythm... and not as mane-intensive as Gelatinous Genesis
was considering Death Mutation, but that skews our curve.
I know big deck, but it runs partially on the Darien engine, and is mostly a token horde based idea. Grim Feast with any board wipe makes a Biorhythm itself.
Populate/Parallel Lives to clone the Penumbra creatures and the Horror token
Liege of the Hollow would be amazing late game, especially if we get a Rebirth off and they're tapped out.

Ug, not happy with the manabase going into the cutting phase, but whatever. I have to admit, I kinda like the awakening zone addition.
We can still vote to add lands. They don't increase the total number of cards in the deck, you just swap out pendlehavens as you add in whatever lands.
I really like the Awakening zone addition. I like that it doesn't die to most wraths.
I'm going to vote against 1 Freyalise just for trimming numbers. I don't think we need three of these.
I'm going to mess with lands also. I'll be the third vote against city of brass and cut it. I normally think City is a great card, but we do need a sensible number of basics for fetching with veteran explorer. I also feel like Temple Garden would be better, since we could fetch it with our Dragon or Krosan Verge. Adding in two Temple Garden. We only have 5 cards main deck that need black, and currently 14 white. Several of those actually need double white. I honestly feel like we could trim the numbers on Godless Shrine for more Temple Gardens. (Green is way more important early on than black). With that in mind, I'm going to vote to -2 the Overgrown Tomb.
Okay, is it too late for some additions? Because I just realized that Sorin, Lord of Innistrad could be the token maker we've been searching for.
-It survives our board wipes;
-His first ability spits out lifelinking vampires. Lifelink can be immensely important when we're both in very low life counts after a Biorhythm;
-His second ability totally amps up our beatdown, and (again) sticks around after a board wipe;
-and his third ability, should we get to it (and we do have the ability to protect him well in this deck) is the perfect way to kill our opponent's creatures before a Biorhythm.
Does anyone else think he'd be completely awesome here?

We have no early game, sans the Veteran Explorer. Forbidden Watchtower can get us a decent blocker regularly. Treetop Village would make for an awesome early game beater. Nantuko Monastery gets a beast to tagteam with whatever survives our Divine Reckoning or the Horror Construct after the Rebirth, granted if we achieve threshold. Stirring Wildwood get us the colors we need, and a decent beater to boot.
Do you really want to shell out for a Mutavault?
Watchtower is budget-friendly and more defensively minded.

There's no reason to play Mutavault if you're not tribal/not playing modern. My go to man land is still Mishra's Factory. (Which is also much cheaper than mutavault, activates early and self pumps on block). Stirring Wildwood and Treetop Village are also sweet. Watchtower is pretty defensive, I just haven't played it anywhere outside of soldier tribal, so I'm probably biased here.
I'm going to vote to remove the watchtower. Compared to what we have available, this card is just terrible. And why Krosan verge versus the actual fetchland? They're really not that expensive any more (not that there was a budget to begin with).

2 Forbidding Watchtower
-It survives our board wipes;
-His first ability spits out lifelinking vampires. Lifelink can be immensely important when we're both in very low life counts after a Biorhythm;
-His second ability totally amps up our beatdown, and (again) sticks around after a board wipe;
-and his third ability, should we get to it (and we do have the ability to protect him well in this deck) is the perfect way to kill our opponent's creatures before a Biorhythm.
Does anyone else think he'd be completely awesome here?
Anyway, for the land base: what about the hideaway lands? Windbrisk Heights and Mosswort Bridge are both way too easy to activate here. Also, is Forbidding Watchtower the manland we want here?
--Buck v Bell, 1927. This case, regarding the compulsory sterilization of inmates at mental institutions, has -- somehow -- never been overturned. Just a wee PSA for ya.
Yeah, it's too late for new additions, but I agree that there are better options for man lands.

I also agree on trimming down Freyalise to 2 copies.
I'll vote to trim two copies of Altar of Bone.
I'm going to vote to remove the watchtower. Compared to what we have available, this card is just terrible. And why Krosan verge versus the actual fetchland? They're really not that expensive any more (not that there was a budget to begin with).
