What to do once it's out:
- +1/+1 counters: What colors do we want? Are Corpsejack Menace or Vorel of the Hull Clade worth it?
- Control: One big thing (finisher) that also removes stuff and protects itself. Not a bad finisher for a control deck.

Eh. Suncrusher's main selling point is the first ability, and since we can only use it once per turn, methods of putting +1/+1 counters on it end up looking less appealing. (Although I do like the Blade, since its repeatable and triggers on the ability itself. I think 2 is the right number.) As such, I don't really feel that modular would be a great fit here.

I'm still thinking energy chamber might be the way to go if we run some other artifacts that interact with +1/+1 or charge counters. I've always loved tumble magnet for some reason. Sphere of Suns might be good fixing.
If you want to use Energy Chamber charge counters, Pentad Prism is the **censored** at fixing, as you can store counters and then remove multiple per turn. Prism can also be cast for WBURG with Fist of the Suns, giving it 5 charge counters FTW.
I don't like the idea of full modular or Hardened Scales, but something like Energy Chamber seems versatile in helping a number of cards. Chamber and Blade are probably enough to keep refueling Suncrusher with counters.

I'm going to go ahead and add more rainbow lands. Thinking about Gemstone Mine, but I'm not sure how relevant that will be. Maybe I'll just stay safe for now and add 3 Reflecting Pool. The opening hands with 2 Reflecting Pool are always kind of sad when you don't have another source of mana, so I think 4 is rarely the right number, but I think it's good enough that we can run 3. Exotic Orchard and Fellwar stone are nice options for 5 color decks too. Storage lands and vivid lands might even be worth considering.
I believe that adding an untap mechanic will allow us the most value from suncrusher. Then we can either bounce him to our hand or use counters we put on him to keep him running

I do not agree that we should use green to ramp. We're running glimmervoids, we need artifact ramp. Adding 4 Pentad Prism because it's good for fixing colors and ramping. I also think we need Fist of Suns, so I think someone should really consider adding a tutor of somesort.

I like this idea. If we end up with proliferate or energy chamber it's nice late game too, but it also curves out nicely even if we don't. Energy chamber is also cool with astral cornucopia or Everflowing Chalice.
Since we're multicolor anyway, Vorel of the Hull Clade could be neat.

Gemstone Array is slower but also interesting. Probably not as good as Chromatic Lantern or Coalition Relic though.
We're committed to artifacts with Glimmervoid, we should have some one or zero drops. Mox Opal or Lotus Petal anyone? Maybe Lotus Bloom or Mox Diamond?
