Scourge of Valkas really gets no love. If I was excepting to see him anywhere it'd be in this thread.
A miniature version of Inferno titan (Sorta) with evasion. Run with smaller "Dragons" such as Slumbering Dragon, adaptive automaton, Taurean Mauler. With those three cards hitting play before Scourge does, your opponent either won't have much removal left to deal with it, or will be dead already.
Admittedly, going Snow Dragons would be a better plan, I think, since Scrying Sheets would give you stuff to do while you set up the mana base. I've also got a couple of Gauntlet of Might that would be fun in here. Play enough acceleration and Gauntlet of Power is fine too.
The fetches and petals are here to help you hit Threshold for Fledgling Dragon. We've also got Moltensteel Dragon, essentially a 4-CC Dragon that could also fit the role of Fledgling. Pyrokinesis works as added sweepage or a 4-cc instant-speed piece of removal. In truth, Flame Slash would be just as great for Casual, I think. There's also Ruby Medallion for some cost reduction if you need it. Eh...you know what? Just use Urza's Incubator. It's 1 more mana for more cost reduction.
Finally finished this. Finding all those mythics in local stores was not an easy task. Thinking about splashing white/green/black to flip control off some more.
Mana Flare is fantastic in your red-based dragon builds. All that extra mana can be funneled into Rakdos's Return and/or Bonfire of the Damned. Here is my build, built to utilize Mana Flare.
I have a question: Since dragons are primary red/black/green, could you more efficiently get dragons out by using low-mana cascade spells and then play reanimate spells?
Also, is there any sort of Noble Heirarch but for B/G/R ?
We got Orcish Lumberjack. Heh. I'm adding Imperial Hellkite to my Dragon tribal and popping in two Anger of the Gods to do things. I'd just as soon Buried Alive some dragons, then reanimate Bladewing the Risen to pull back another dragon in the process. My revised deck:
The reason I have so many single dragons is just personally, I enjoy the variety and seeing different ones every game. They all have powerful abilities, so none really take priority.
I absolutely love Generator Servant in this deck. While early game he doesn't synergize well with the Shaman, late game when you have two shamans out you can split the two mana he makes and drop two hasty dragons.
Another card I like is Sudden Demise. Aside from the fact that he can wipe out your enemies knights, elves, merfolk, what have you, but even against red you can tap enough to kill your opponents goblins and keep your dragons alive. That and I don't care much for Banefire.
Also, Ideally i'd have 4x Dragonmaster Outcast for some T1 action, but again, he's expensive.
What are your thoughts? I'm working on a Gruul variant that evolves around Bifurcate. Have you read that card? its insane with Dragons!
I wonder if we can get this thread rebooted now that we have the "dragon block." I'm eager to try out all these new dragon ideas and other color dragons.
I've done some recent playtesting with Temur Dragons while focusing on trying to combo out with Savage Ventmaw and Hellkite Charger however I'm not able to get it going as fast as I hoped I would. Also If my opponent gets rid of Druids' Repository I won't be able to get the mana I need to fuel my infinite attack combo.

I was just having fun with this build and made a rainbow Dragon deck with the FRF Legendary Dragons, it's super cheap on the wallet which was the point. What do you think?
I’m a huge Dragons fan since ever. In the last couple of months I’ve started a Dragons collection And also trying to build a Dragons deck. Unfortunately a lot of Dragons are red and I don’t like red at all :-D. I would to build a 5 color deck but I was scared about manabase. So I’m building a Mono Blue 5c deck thanks to the recent release of M21. I usually play 2vs2 allied version with my friends without any card restriction except for planeswalkers. I’ve used the combo Tinker + Chromatic orrery and also a set of chromatic lanterns.
Here’s my first build:
Creature:
1 x Balefire Dragon
1 x Destructor Dragon
1 x Dragonlord Atarka
1 x Dragonlord Dromoka
1 x Dragonlord Kolaghan
1 x Dragonlord Ojutai
1 x Dragonlord Silumgar
3 x Golos, Tireless Pilgrim
1 x Hellkite Tyrant
1 x Ojutai, Soul of Winter
1 x Savage Ventmaw
1 x Scourge of the Throne
1 x Steel Hellkite
1 x Terror of the Peaks
1 x The Ur-Dragon
1 x Utvara Hellkite
Instant:
2 x Cyclonic Rift
2 x Mystical Tutor
Sorcery:
4 x Tinker
Artifact:
4 x Chromatic Lantern
2 x Chromatic Orrery
1 x Mana Crypt
2 x Mishra's Bauble
1 x Mycosynth Lattice
4 x Seat of the Synod
4 x Sol Ring
Land:
4 x Haven of the Spirit Dragon
11 x Island
1 x Tolarian Academy
I think it lacks some removals but the power level of my opponents is low and usually they doesn’t have a lot of removals, they doesn’t use mass removals at all and one of them doesn’t use target removal (Only Diabolic Edict). My strategy is simply to have better and stronger creatures with enough speed. What do you think? Any suggestion?

Still needs a bit of tweaking, but I think Skin Invasion is a nice additon and Crucible of Fire is good when the dragons are cheap.
