Hey guys, my friends and I play a lot of EDH (almost exclusively these days, but we also have some modern decks lying around). Anyways, two of these friends are brothers and have made two decks hosting Brothers Yamazaki, and a bunch of hug style cards--with a fun twist. It uses cards that have the draw back of affecting an opponent positively, so they target each other. It can be annoying sometimes, but they decks really aren't full of good cards and in 4 player EDH it doesn't matter too much anyways. Some of these cards do fun things like deal damage to whatever you want, ramp your teammate, give your teammate an extra turn, etc.
Also, just to be sure (since it is an odd card), but Soldevi Sentry only lets the opponent draw a card if the regeneration shield was actually used. That means something has to be trying to kill it or the opponent to draw a card and only one shield is used at a time. So activating it 5 times will not let the opponent draw 5 cards when it would be destroyed the next time. They would have to destroy it 5 times.

cant you activate the regenerate shield even if it is not being destroyed?

Yes, you can activate it as much as you want. But, the Oracle Text says:
1: Choose target opponent. Regenerate Soldevi Sentry. When it regenerates this way, that player may draw a card.
The opponent doesn't draw until the "shield" is used and the Sentry actually regenerates.
Polukranos, World Eater is not hug per se, but can get potentially get rid of a creature or two either one of you doesn't want to see anymore, especially if you can give it deathtouch with something like Bow of Nylea.
You might be interested in an enchantress subtheme. Enchantments can target any valid target which means you can use Wild Growth, Market Festival, or Elvish Guidance to help ramp other players; Blanchwood Armor to give another player a large threat; or something like Ordeal of Nylea to help someone else out and ramp yourself. Using Verdant Enchantress and friends allows you to maintain a card draw engine while also helping others out.
If you decide to use land auras than you can use Magus of the Candelabra or Candelabra of Tanwos as ramp tools. You can also Heartbeat of Spring as well. However, you may not want to use them as Heartbeat as it affects everyone but some players will be better able to use it than others. If you're trying to help out another green player you can use Gauntlet of Power or Extraplanar Lens instead.
You might also want to consider Heartwood Storyteller and Weird Harvest. Technically they affect all players rather than a targeted individual but if you're trying to help out someone with a creature heavy deck than those cards pretty effective.
@WizardMN Good cards! By the way, I think for the Soldevi Setnry, they use pinging affects that they can do multiple times a turn to be able to draw for each.
@Gashnaw, And We do all have Ionas, but they run some EldraziTitans and their spells to help out.
*EDIT*
@Bthepanda Thanks for suggestions, I totally forgot of Gauntlet and Lens! Also the werewolves could also fill up the deck with more themes.
Alright everyone, thanks for the help! We look like we have about 24 cards, plus possibly werewolves and then of course just green good stuff!
I'm considering maybe Iwamori of the Open Fist and then have my friend run as many legends as he can in hopes that it doesn't just help my opponents. His trample also works well with Ursapine style cards and with Assault Suit to try and win with commander damage...
Alternatively, Jugan, The Rising Star seems a lot better and can also have a group hug affect as well...
If I ran one, and my ally ran the other, we could setup a soft combo with using Nullmage Advocate or Forcemage Advocate to return the dragon to hand, then cheat it out again with Iwamori. This would also just help how pricey a 6 cmc commander can get in multiplayer.
I have found two of these in green: Evolutionary Escalation, and Sheltering Ancient.
I can also, of course, use the colorless ones: Phyrexian Portal, Emrakul, the Promised End, Rainbow Vale, Forbidden Orchard, and Soldevi Sentry.
I was wondering what green cards you guys know of that can give me a similar affect of being able to team up with someone.
Thanks in advance!

There are some other narrow effects you could look into. If you and another player are doing some +1/+1 counters shenanigans you be interested in Obsessive Skinner, Maulfist Revolutionary, or Rishkar, Peema Renegade.
Alternatively you could ask someone to flip your werewolves for you. Duskwatch Recruiter/Krallenhorde Howler, Hermit of the Natterknolls/Lone Wolf of the Natterknolls, and Sage of Ancient Lore/Werewolf of Ancient Hunger are good effects to have in Commander if you keep them flipped reliably. And if you're being nice to someone it's only fair that they help you out as well, is it not?

Thoughts on commander choice?
