I'm not sure if I'd be thrilled or ashamed. Maybe if they can just not have human secondary sexual characteristics? That'd be great, thanks. Lookin' at you, kitsune diviner, ya weirdo.
I used to think this sort of perversity was just a male thing. Now I know better.
Anyway, Ink-Eyes has a nice ability. No evasion on her own, but she has ninjutsu. She's not as good as a commander as a result. (It's a problem for ninja.) You can use Rogue's Passage?

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
If people are sick of reading about stuff just stop taking part. You have 100% control over what you read. Simic Ascendancy isn't going to get banned just because you didn't tell someone to shut up on the internet.
Everdream is one of my favorite of the newest cards. Card draw is always potent, and even just using it to add card draw to cards like Swords to Plowshares in the late game seems good.
Wait, I thought they just fixed it, so it’s NOT on all storm copies...
As you cast an instant or sorcery spell, you may reveal this card from your hand and pay its splice cost. If you do, add this card’s effects to that spell.
When you cast this spell, copy it for each spell cast before it this turn.
Looks like the former's wording with the "As" directive modifies the way the spell is being placed on the stack. While Storm uses the "When" directive which is, of course and as always, the signification of a triggered ability condition (in this case, casting the spell in question). The former involves decisions being made to the spell itself which modify the spell being copied by the latter effect.
I play the s*** out of this card. I spliced this 15 times one game. Splice onto StP, PtE, Counterspell, Negate, etc. if you have the mana, this is phenomenal value. Less good at higher power levels because +3 is expensive, but having every spell cantrip is super potent where applicable.
Backing up(I don't come here as often as I used to, ) to Treacherous Terrain; that came in the same package as Collective Voyage(Commander '16), which explains both its casting cost and the {hopefully} resultant feel bads.
A lot of people still consider Ink-Eyes to be the only relevant 'rat general' in my playgroup. I think you almost need more colors to take advantage of rats to their full potential, so Ink-Eyes, as some have said, is less of a danger. Besides, you almost need another color to make rats truly threatening, IMO.
Everdream...I have never been a fan of splicing. I respect those who like it, and I agree it's a fun way to get additional effects on spells, but it's definitely not my thing, even for a cantrip like this.
I actually dismissed this card, but seeing the feedback on it makes me want to play around with it. I also had no idea that it could give copies of spells the splice effect, which greatly increases it's usefulness imo.
So my understanding is clear, could you splice this onto a spell cast with an Isochron Scepter activation? To my knowledge, copies of spells aren't "cast" by most rules definitions, but Scepter states that you're casting the copy, so would that make it a valid Everdream target?

Zedruu: "This deck is not only able to go crazy - it also needs to do so."
One of the many creatures they've printed that would be infinitely more interesting if they halved the cost and made it a 1/1 instead of making you pay for a big body.

I don't think you can add 6 +1/+1 counters, on a flicker body, for 4 mana. Even if its a 1/1

The requirement of having 6 other creatures to get that value is steeper than you're giving credit to. And like, when's the last time you saw someone win by flickering Meadowboon or Primeval Protector?

Yeah, this card is quite similar to a hearthstone card. It's not very good. If the idea is to pump all of your elves and then when you get wrathed you get life, I'd rather do something that draws me cards instead.
Good with things like Generous Patron and things which use +1/+1 counters or "Creatures you control with +1/+1 counters on them have TEXT." or a few other Simic and Abzan cards. If you're in white, it's really outclassed by Meadowboon tho.

I saw this card and thought of Jade Statue. Then I read it and was all "waitaminute, this is not that card..." Uhm, I guess this is good with Pariah's Shield? Pariah it onto a creature that likes getting hit or shrugs it off (Unworthy Dead comes to mind, Darksteel Myr), or win the lottery with Stuffy Doll as the recipient.
Let's not forget that blood of the martyr and does come outta nowhere when one was expecting to pyroclasm your board. The monolith sits on the field and telegraphs your intentions. I'm sure that's the primary reason for the price hike.

Pretty cool, it's like tacking a Think Twice onto every instant or sorcery you cast.
