I think the comparison to EDHREC has been made, some more tactfully than others. Please try to keep the replies to the OP constructive in nature and not needlessly blunt. Thanks.
As a somewhat 75%-ish player I always find it hard to post proper feedback. When I do visit here for information or deck ideas the sheer number of well thought out decks is amazing. But being the player I am, I find it hard to contribute constructively to decklist since I still think my knowledge of EDH/Magic while growing but pales in comparison to the frequent posters (I've started during RTR block). So I resort to lurking instead and harvesting the information for myself.
As for my decks they are combination of these forums, tappedout and edhrec and they're in a constant WIP since I do have a budget and can't make it rain magic cards when I please. So I make do with I have and they tend to work fine in my playgroups (albeit being somewhat slow and clunky sometimes).
In short: I think my knowledge and experience are insufficient to contribute with constructive feedback and English is not my native language which makes it somewhat harder and more time consuming to post.
You shouldn't let all this stop you, to be honest. While it's nice to be able to help people improve their decks, often it's just nice to have people discuss strategy in relation to a particular archetype or commander. It can be a really good way to get hints on ways to improve the way you play too, as opposed to just card suggestions, and that's never a bad thing - decklists can only get so good, but the ways a player can improve their plays doesn't really have an upper limit. And I'm sure you have things to offer here as much as we have to offer you.
As somewhat of a budget player myself (maybe not entirely anymore - none of my decks cost thousands, but I've worked hard in trade and hustle to build a reasonable collection of format staples) I can understand how it's tough to get feedback when it's like 'ýou should add Mana Crypt in here', but I tend to think most of the stalwarts on these forums have a reasonable degree of understanding about what a deck builder is aiming for. You should try posting some lists - there's plenty of corner tech out there that costs peanuts that can help a list do neat things, and the forums here are a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge.
Not that there's anything wrong with lurking, but you shouldn't be shy either. If there's decks you own that you're particularly proud of, show them off, ask for feedback, start some discussion. It's good for the community and helps us as much as it helps you.

First off, thanks for the reply! I sometimes underestimate myself when it comes to certain things. I do have a few more niche decks that could use some feedback/extra set of eyes, those decks being a Riku spellslinger/copy deck and a Damia control list. I've got easter break from work so I might post the decklists for those two.
I'll try and be more like Nemo and less like Marlin when it comes to posting (if this reference even makes sense)
Thread feedback is a tricky thing. I only feel comfortable chipping in on commanders I'm familiar with, or at least contemplated at some point. I'm also ridiculously picky with my legends, which narrows my area of comfort considerably. I'm trying to be active in the Feather, the Redeemed threads, as that's a new commander, stuff's going on around her, and I feel I can actually contribute. I fanboy in unrelated threads every now and then, not offering much constructiveness but applauding the thought that went into the deck and its upkeep. From experience, those are quite nice to receive. I guess I should do those more often, maybe push myself a bit out of my comfort zone.
In terms of actually receiving feedback, my flagship decks have evolved to a pretty good standard across the years, and some random passer-by may not necessarily have many thoughts on my decision to have Sun Titan be the cut for Bolas Rock. And I may take a while to process different angles to mine. It took me years to include Cabal Coffers, in spite of suggestions early on in the deck's life. More recently, it took me nine days to include Chrome Mox in spite of constant list tweaking and near-daily updates.

I think it’s fine to lurk and get what you need, but ultimately I’ve always found discourse to be more rewarding for all involved.
