I am more so doing this as a discussion of possibles. I know that generally speaking you probably don't want to be pushing mono white into competitive but if you are sold on that who would you go with?
I guess maybe I am overlooking some sort of land disruption style commander although I don't know who. Those were the only ones that came to mind for me that might be able to push a competitive angle. I really don't have experience here so anyone who might know please chime in.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
If Competitive = can just golfish everyone as quickly as possible I think Teshar and Sram are your only options. Sram cheerios is a real deck that can goldfish kill turn 4 (basically as soon as it resolves Aetherflux Resevoir), and that deck can also filter very quickly with Sram. Teshar seems like he's a bit harder to infinite with in a reliable way although your deck can have a lot of redundancy at least (basically anything that lets you scoop up an artifact + any sac outlet + any 0-mana artifact does it), and that deck should also goldfish out on turn 3 or 4.
If Competitive = "utilizes strategies normally frowned upon at a 100% multiplayer table", I'd say I think Nahiri, the Lithomancer STAX is an option. White has a ton of great STAX effects and Nahiri is great at fueling them.
If Competitive = "extremely deadly 1v1 deck", Thalia, Guardian of Thraben hatebears is an actual tier 2 deck in that meta online.

Depending on just how combo heavy your meta is, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben might be good. I’v never tried it, but it also might make a good ‘Geddon Commander by making it really difficult for your opponents post-Geddon. Hokori, Dust Drinker also comes to mind.
I like the two that you mentioned the best. Teshar seems like it should be ridiculous, and getting to combo-kill a table with Perilous Myr or Aetherflux Reservoir is kinda epic. Sram seems like it would be more inline with winning through more traditional ways, but you can definitely set up the deck to be able to kill quickly.
Thanks, I am working on a resource about mono white and I just wanted someone a little more familiar with a competitive scene to chime in. Those other suggestions sound good as well.

Just from experience Thalia, Guardian of Thraben stax decks never win. They look better on paper than actually how they play out.
It just doesn't have a good way of actually winning the game, as hate-bears can't get the job done reducing 120 life (4 player game). So the games are slowed down, but ultimately doesn't have the punching power.
I've done a Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle primer (link in signature) and as you say don't even blink, it can go off on a dime.
Sram, Senior Edificer is the real deal. That 1W to cast him means that you are filtering through a lot of cards potentially on turn two. So if opponents remove him, you have a very high chance of just casting him out again on the third turn (because you draw into cheap mana) and doing it all again. Surprisingly hard to stop, played against him a number of times, and just been sitting there twiddling my thumbs as they filter through literally half their deck on Turn 4.
Then going a lower tier Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Sure it cost 8, but if you get some mana acceleration, you literally just need to resolve a follow up Armageddon and it locks the game away. Obviously a lot slower than the previous two, but still quite a scary build as it has board-wipe after board wipe.
Off the top of my head:
Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle - the guy goes infinite if you sneeze.
Sram, Senior Edificer - as a cherios artifacts deck might be a thing? I am not really sure how it would win though. The only thing that really comes to mind for me is Aetherflux Reservoir.
I guess maybe I am overlooking some sort of land disruption style commander although I don't know who. Those were the only ones that came to mind for me that might be able to push a competitive angle. I really don't have experience here so anyone who might know please chime in.

Avacyn, angel of hope works well with ramp and cards like:
I guess you could also do tribal humans or death and taxes with either Thalia as your commander.
Elesh Norn, grand cenobite would be good in an aggro heavy meta.
Heliod, God of the sun can be a pillow fort enchantments matter Commander.
But yeah, they all have their issues, and none of them are the most competitive commander.
