I'm playing Morph deck with Animar, Soul of Elements as commander.
I'm usually attacking only with Animar and I want to try Meekstone in my deck, but is there any other way, how to protect my Animar against Meekstone as a card or Meekstone's ability?
Other than vigilance or some permnanent with "untap target creature".
Because morph and manifest creatures sneak under a meekstone and can do bigger damage when turned face-up. Next up there are morph creatures that can flip your other morph creatures facedown when turn face-up. Animar with three +1/+1 counters makes it so the given cost to cast a creature face-down is always 0.
If you're going to play shenanigans with +1/+1 counters, it would be remiss to not at least mention Sage of Hours. He's obviously STRONGER when you're targeting him with stuff, but shifting stuff around works just about as well...add in having two or three untap steps compared to their one, and bonus.
I would likely use crawlspace over either. Why prevent them from attacking someone else?
Meekstone also prevents them from untapping which means your 2/2s can sneak past. A luxury that crawlspace doesn't afford you. If they do block your 2/2, you might be very well forced to flip it or another for combat advantage.

Meekstone in theory lets you sneak past. In practice, meekstone makes a gigantic stall where none is doing any attacking, with 2/2s or otherwise. Crawlspace just means they wont attack you with much which should not create much stall.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

you could run something like smoke instead..?
Legacy - Solidarity - mono U aggro - burn - Imperial Painter - Strawberry Shortcake - Bluuzards - bom
But I must say that Smoke card is much better I didn't know that card. I'll definitely test it. Thanks
Meekstone & Smoke creates combat opportunities with Morph creatures. Crawlspace does not.

I use Meekstone in Derevi, but not in Animar.
