It's getting difficult to track all the requests and questions I've been getting, so post every request and/or feature you'd like to see and I'll compile it into a list for our dev. Please be as descriptive as possible.
The ability to set the number of columns/cards in a column in deck tags
Currently, the Deck Tags automatically create columns based on the number of cards added as well the number of cards in a "section" as noted by a header without a number in front. This means that, in certain cases, there will be 2 columns because the order of the sections doesn't allow it to automatically create 3 columns. See the following 2 examples:
Also, as an offshoot to this, currently if you only have 2 cards, 1 in each section, one or two empty columns are inserted at the beginning so it would be nice to not have this carry over:
Add the ability to have a pop up image of anything, similar to card tags
This would allow for text to be a link that just pops up an image like we currently have for card tags. This would primarily allow for images of cards to be referenced even if they are not in the database. It would probably have other uses as well.
Use Scryfall as the card database
It is probably too late to change this one, but it would be nice to use Scryfall for the card database so card tags work pretty much the day cards are spoiled since Scryfall is exceptionally quick on updating their card list
Allow for better image/text manipulation/sizing/positioning in posts
Currently, we use float tags to get things like images and text to, well, float in the middle of text but it would be nice to have a way to better provide absolute positioning of these things in posts so everything is formatted exactly as we want. And it would be nice to re-size images while doing this when using the [img] tag so a larger image could be shrunk down to a specific size without needing to use the [boxvar] tag.
Have a "dark" theme/mode
I was really disappointed when the dark theme went away on this site and it would be nice to have something like that back. Even if it is not black background with white text, a gray would be preferable to the bright white we currently have.
Have the site layout better suited to "half-screen" windows
This might only affect a small minority, but I currently run the site in mobile mode on my desktop (or, whatever mode is not Desktop Mode) because when I go to Desktop Mode, I get scroll bars at the bottom of the screen since I don't have the window maximized (it is slightly over half the screen). It would be nice if the pages would re-size themselves (to a point) where I don't need to scroll to the right every time I want to read a post or make a post.
Tell us what forum a thread is posted in
I basically monitor the "New or Updated Forum Threads" page so I can see all the new threads and posts across the site. It would be nice if we could get back a line of text that tells us what forum a particular thread is in.
Also, related to this, please make sure we still have a "New or Updated Forum Threads" page so we can see everything new across the site.
I am sure I will have some other thoughts, but this is what I can think of now.
I'd like to second the Scryfall part. If not possible, mirroring their border_crop collection server-side for easy good card image access without the need to stash them away somewhere when making primers would be nice.
I just want to keep our mana symbol emojis. Maybe with shorter implementation like [m]R[/m] (to match the [c]Dark Confidant[./c] tags) instead of [mana]R[./mana].
To be able to see both the thread start date and last post date on mobile. Really annoying to see some 6yr old thread necro posted by some blank user with 1 post. Which is a real problem on this site.
More real estate for signatures. Now I don't mean just make them bigger, but it would be nice if you could put a "spoiler" and actually have it expand to accommodate. You could still have a restriction on spoiler tag expansion sizes in signatures, maybe x2 what the normal size is to prevent people going stupid with them.
On MTGSal putting a spoiler won't expand the physical size and I've noticed this catches out a lot of people.
As far as coding it, maybe it's just better in the profile section to have two boxes for filling in.
"Signature"
"Signature Expanded"
If "Signature Expanded" has text then a button could appear on the bottom of the signature, and this could be pressed to expand to show what's in the "Signature Expanded" box.
Or probably more realistic, there will always be a button for expanding to show the "Signature Expanded", but there might not be any text in it.
Not being too demanding I hope? But seriously that would be awesome.
Honestly, the only request I have is to get the Rules Committee and/or Commander Advisory Group more involved with the site. I wish they officially could become more involved with the site as it was the only thing missing from this one. Having a discussion board is one thing, but having a discussion board that the RC and CAG frequent is even better.

While mods can help with that, it's mostly on the userbase. The RC stayed off of this site for a long time because of the amount of vitriol they had to deal with every time they posted something. If there's a moderately sized commander community willing to engage in civil discussion and the RC/CAG is aware of it, they're going to be a lot more likely to visit. Aside from keeping things civil and the normal stuff they'll want to do to grow the community (which I hope and assume they'll be doing anyways), I'm not sure what mods and admins can do beyond extend an invitation to the RC/CAG.

If you have a deck builder, please have it either default to lands as the last category or give us control to arrange the card types. I tried the MTGSalvation deck builder and hated it, so I still manually code out decklists.
On MTGSalvation, when I go to New or Updated Forum Threads, it gives me everything from across the site, including tons of things I don't want to see. I'd love a user setting where you could select which forums and subforums to display. I mean, I look at spoilers and play Commander and Cube, so Standard, Modern, Custom Cards, etc is of zero interest to me, yet I have to wade through pages and pages of stuff to find what I want.
If we're going to keep card tags, deck tags, etc, please keep the noparse tag. It makes it a lot easier when helping people who don't understand tags.
And this is probably a long shot, but if we could have an integrated cube interface for managing and drafting our cubes (akin to cubetutor), that would be spectacular. Being able to manage and discuss all in one place would be so helpful.
Keep the same customized BBCode so I can more easily maintain a decklist on two sites. Being able to copy and paste from one to the other would save me a lot on headache medication.

As Weebo said, this is up to the RC/CAG to determinewhere they want to spend their time. The mods here worked very hard to make this forum more inviting to them, and we currently have participation from Sheldon, Toby, and Charlotte. I hope they will check out the new forum when it launches, but beyond extending them an invitation there isn't much else we can do.

Dark theme is planned, but not a priority for launch. A proper deck builder is similarly not ready for launch, but a priority. As we get closer to rolling it out I'll hype it, but I don't know what the status is, so "it's on the list".

You can customize that page. My site bookmark goes to this page and I have it set up to only show me threads I'm subscribed to.

Almost positive it's been added, if not it will be. We love that tag.

Cube support is definitely on the list. Can't say much more than that yet.

You're going to be disappointed because if you start customizing your threads on the new site and then copy/paste them here, you'll get a lot of unsupported code.... here.
Again with respect to the mobile UI, it would be nice to make card tags easier. Perhaps a button that pops up a prompt where you type the card name and press okay? That would be two button presses instead of the ~18 needed to do even the simple “c” and “/c” tags on an on-screen keyboard.
