Welcome everyone. Today I will be teaching you how to operate my newest model of lawn mower. The one and only Phyrexian Devourer. It will eat your entire deck and your opponents' life total or your money back. So join me as I propose to you a Yawgmoth's Vile Offering.
That deck is very fast as well. Although this deck can grab cards to hinder its bad match ups more consistently; via its ability to pay black with life and having more tutors. It can also win just as fast normally or faster with fast mana, triple tutor, or Beseech the Queen opening hands.
Now the combo isn't the most original thing. Although it is one of the lowest CMC/card dependent combos that can be done. The goal is to tutor up Buried Alive and mill Phyrexian Devourer, Triskelion, and then Necrotic Ooze on top. Afterwards reanimate Necrotic Ooze with a reanimation spell in hand, that you had or tutored for. The combo works by Necrotic Ooze only getting the activated abilities of Phyrexian Devourer via its errata and Triskelion. Necrotic Ooze gains counters from Phyrexian Devourer and deals damage by removing those counters with Triskelion. This can be done in response to the opponents attempts to stop the combo. Draco is ran because of its high CMC to finish off three players safely, if the opponents didn't lose life during the game.
All the ramp in this deck can be played before K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. Given the exception of Mox Amber. All the black ramp spells in the deck net more mana with K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. Mox Opal isn't ran because two other artifacts on field in this deck can be inconsistent. If you really want to run it though, some tutors could be cut for more artifacts and artifact lands. Blood Celebrant goes infinite up to your life total with K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth in play. Usually it's game over for the opponent if Blood Celebrant and two tutors are in hand, or three tutors if you grab Blood Celebrant with one. Be careful though. Hands with multiple 5 CMC tutors in hand and no lower CMC tutors can lead to soft locks on your turn; where victory can't be secured until next turn. In these situations extend a bit with tutors, and swing a bit with K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth for some extra life.
Expedition Map grabs strip mine for Glacial Chasm, Boseiju, Who Shelters All and Cavern of Souls for counter decks, and better lands for ramp if need be. Defense Grid stops counter decks if they aren't there on lands yet, and makes some removal unplayable. Imp's Mischief redirects counters and removal. Snuff Out is ran over Slaughter Pact because of its CMC in the combo, and is used to kill big issue creatures for free. If you are feeling extra cocky, and want to save life, Slaughter Pact can be ran instead. Night's Whisper, Sign in Blood, and Street Wraith get tutors or reanimation spells faster, and draw cards that were put on top of the library. These can be cut if you don't mind waiting a turn, or more can be added if you aren't comfortable with waiting a turn after putting a card on top of the library. There are a ton of single Bcycle cards and "draw one" cards. If that route is followed, throw in a Putrid Imp to avoid hands where graveyard combo pieces are drawn. Praetor's Grasp grabs the opponents' Pact of Negation, kill spell, board wipe, or even their tutor if another is needed.
Hands that have multiple reanimation spells or tutors can be used to bait out counter spells or removal. In those cases just let the creatures go to the graveyard and recur them.
This decks greatest strength is not just the amount of tutors, but also what can be tutored. Tutors in the deck don't have to strictly grab the combo pieces. They can grab lower CMC tutors, utility, or even ramp if need be.
