Well, i must say, this deck is pretty fun to play. I really like getting turn 1 karn, which is pretty destructive, then when you add a mycosynthe lattice on turn 2, it is pretty devastating.
Things that have been useless for me.
Serum Tank
The stations and well of knowledge.
I would put Darksteel collosus and myconsynth golem can let you go insane, replaying Karn virtualy nonstop. Sundering titan does nothing to you but can destroy your opponents. Since you don't have many creatures and if you want to keep it that way Silent arbiter is a great way to deal with stompy decks and other things of that nature. Vesuva is a useful card to have.
Get Scorched Ruins in there! The above mentioned Sundering Titan, Mycosynth Golem, and Darksteel Colossus are also good addtions. My Karn deck has found Sword of Light and Shadow and Sword of Fire and Ice to be very good. Other suggestions would be Arena of the Ancients and Psychogenic Probe which are good sources of hosing enemy generals/legends and making people pay for those shuffle and search effects..
you can do mishra's workshop and a mana crypt and get karn out.
However to go off turn two, you need 2 cards in your hand. Usually you can support yourself for the mana.
Metalworker and Staff of Domination.
You make infinite life, and infinite mana, and infinite draw.
I have won games like this. Turn 1 Land, Mana vault, metal worker. Turn 2 tap for 8 mana. play staff, and win.
What would Karn look like now, I would love to make a Karn deck and get into EDH, but I don't know how to build these kind of just random fun decks, anyone have suggestions?

I sold my collection and all I have left is my red edh deck but this deck was a lot of fun. Not as much when my opponent had a rebel deck with Aura Shards though.
I am working on a similar deck (slowly), and I really like your list. I always loved the combo of Karn plus Mycosynth Lattice for 1 mana land destruction, hehe, and that's tame compared to the other crazy things that can happen
Wouldn't all these lists be better with the inclusion of Time Vault? Since its un-errata'ing, the voltaic key/time vault interaction is yet another way to win the game upon resolution.
Time Vault is the newest card to be banned in EDH. Which is fine because I actually started thinking about getting one!
May I ask why you included Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth? Wouldn't this only have a possible upside for an opponent who may be playing back? Am I missing something?

I often play against decks that use it themselves, so making them miss a land drop or nailing their urborg is worth it.
Time Vault can be replaced with Magistrate's Scepter. There are more than enough effects to go and take infinite turns once set up. People forget that comboing out isn't the only way the deck can win. This weekend I beat two other players (Sygg, River Guide and Garza Zol) with just straight beats from high CC artifacts.
The reason I love my Karn deck so much is because of the myriad of win conditions. As for updates, I think the only thing even worth a mention would be Lich's Mirror but even then, it leaves you too far behind everyone else that I don't think it's worth it. Still kinda funny though.
