I'm new to EDH (commander) so I'd love some feedback. I play on Magic Online, so I'm a bit restricted in terms of card availability. For those who aren't familiar, the MTGO card pool is currently 7th Edition and on for base sets and Mirage, Visions, Weatherlight, and Invasion and on for expansions. There are a few other odds and ends (from Master's editions, duel decks, etc.) but that's mainly it. Anyway, here's the deck:
This is the second monowhite deck that I have seen that includes weathered wayfarer. In a 100 card deck, what is the point? For that matter, why run any one drop creatures, except maybe figure of destiny? The chance of drawing it on turn 1 or 2 is so remote that you may as well forget about it, and drawing it later is very bad.

I appreciate the comment, but with all due respect, you're insane. Weathered Wayfarer is incredible no matter when you draw him. He's also the reason I run three karoo type lands: to help ensure that one of my opponents always has more land than I do (usually happens anyway due to someone playing green acceleration). If left to his own devices, WW will singlehandedly swing games on his own. He thins your deck, he gets crucial, game-winning lands, and all for one mana. I seriously suggest you reconsider him and his threat level.

I have to concur re: Weathered Wayfarer. He's a great reusable tutor effect, which lets me run a copy of each Urza land in my Crovax deck. There's always some green player at the table with a hojillion lands out that lets you use him repeatedly, and the Karoos are very synergistic with his ability.
Crovax is a great form of token removal that a lot of people forget about. If they play any */1 cards they go straight to the graveyard. Also, his return to hand ability lets you cast him for 6 mana so you won't have to pay an additional 2 mana every time you want to cast him after he dies. It also protects him from steal effects and effects like Oblation.

Primary and only casual rule: "any rule that is fine for the most part of the playgroup, is a fine rule". So any further thread with: "if somebody uses/does .... in a casual game, is it ethical/ok?", read the answer above.
- Being a "Johnny/Spike" means you like self-torture. You win often in casual, so everybody hates you; you loose often in competitive, so you hate yourself.
With all the mass removal effects in EDH, Twilight Shepherd and Adarkar Valkyrie deserve a spot in here. I love to run Whitemane Lion as a rescue effect, also. Karmic Guide is one of white's best creatures ever. I also love running Miraculous Recovery, especially when you have as many mass removal effects as you do.
I'm not sold on Pulse of the Fields or Martyr of Sands in this deck.
Crovax is a great form of token removal that a lot of people forget about. If they play any */1 cards they go straight to the graveyard. Also, his return to hand ability lets you cast him for 6 mana so you won't have to pay an additional 2 mana every time you want to cast him after he dies. It also protects him from steal effects and effects like Oblation.
One of the reasons I choose 8.5 over Crovax is because Crovax is practically invincible just like you mentioned. The reusable +2 mana commander ability is almost worthless for him. Barring some split second removal, Crovax ain't dying. I'll just bounce him to my hand and replay for six. 8.5, on the other hand, can protect himself, but I need the mana available, and he dies to sweepers. I'd much rather be able to replay him repeatedly than Crovax. That was my reasoning, for what it's worth.

I don't know about MTGO, but due to (somewhat recent) rules changes, runetail, kitsune ascendant now has no card-level errata, and so can be considered pretty powerful as he comes into play and then flips most of the time.
Yeah it's the same on MTGO I think. Even so, I didn't think it was worth it. Hardly anyone plays damaging effects on creatures, and combat isn't terribly relevant in most EDH games I've played. Even with an auto-flip I didn't think it was worth it. Maybe I should try it out, though. Anyone have experience with it?

I see your point, but you have to ask yourself, given the odds of drawing a single card in a 100 card highlander deck, would you rather see 8.5 tails every game, or Crovax? Elf and token decks just fold to him being on the board.

You should run painters servent. it just lets you do silly things. like the above paladin you can name whit to blow up anything plus you don't need your general, saving you mana
just FYI, the ravnica-block karoo lands aren't legal with a mono-colored general in EDH. you could use the actual karoo but it requires that the land is untapped, which is pretty stupid. also calciform pools, horizon canopy, and saltcrusted steppe are all illegal as well. anything that has mana symbols outside of your general's colors. Kind of a stupid rule imo, but it is what it is.
I would consider the white counterspells (mostly lapse of memory) since there are a lot of combo decks around. people won't see a counterspell coming from mono-white, and in a big multiplayer game, people with a wincon on top of their library will get beat down and killed before they get to their next draw step.
Another 1-cc creature that absolutely always deserves inclusion in a white deck is mother of runes. your general provides solid protection, but mommy gives you faster defense and doesn't require mana, and saves you 1W once your general is working.
martyr's cry could be a hillarious selective wrath. if nothing else, you'd probably be the first person to use it effectively.

I would think you need a few more creatures; Celestial Crusader is good, Ivory Giant also, but even better is Pentarch Paladin to use in combo with your general !

circle of protection: white and rune of protection: white are easy inclusions, if boring. as would sphere of truth.
