This deck uses bounce to get rid of anything nasty your opponent may get for free with Braids, while you put down threats and hindrances.
Card draw should keep you with more answers and there's a little stealing in there too.
Extra turns or upkeeps are great, but Teferi's CurseVanishing on Braids gets her all to yourself.
I used to run Leviathan and Jokulmorder, but while I did get them out as early threats at times, they just ended up being not worth the trouble.
I think you need to read the rules for phasing; you seem to be saying that only you will be able to use Braids with Teferi's Curse on her. Phasing occurs on the permanent's owner's untap step, not every untap step, so you and your opponent will both get equal use out of Braids, just on every other two turns.
Other than that I'd suggest Teeka's Dragon and Inkwell Leviathan, since neither have drawbacks and are B I G...

I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

I see. The idea was suggested by somebody and I never bothered to read the actual rules for phasing.
I was really happy to stumble across this thread, because I'm working on a Braids deck right now and I wasn't sure if I was taking it the right direction. Seeing as my deck looks just like yours, I guess I wasn't all wrong.
Edit:
Continuing with bounce-ity effects, I'm using Distorting Wake and Tidespout Tyrant, the latter of which is very nice seeing as it also functions as fat for you to cheat into play.
Seems odd, but where's Memnarch? Half the fun of letting your opponent(s) drop free permanents is stealing them afterwards. As far as Phasing, you may want to use Shimmer. Name anything but Islands, and you can hurt your opponents. Mana Web and Back to Basics also have some ability to help lock down your opponents without hindering your ability to cast spells. Clone could get you a second Colossus or Kraken as it comes into play enters the battlefield. There's also Sleep and Inkwell Leviathan from M10 and Conflux, respectively. Mana Short is an oft overlooked bit of mischief, as well. For bouncing, try Recantation; it works quite well with Paradox Haze.
Hope these suggestions give you some ideas.

May your games be chaotic and your decks be Rogue.
I've been meaning to reply here as there have been a number of good suggestions. It's been a while since I've used this deck and it really needs to be tweaked. Thanks to everyone. I'll dust it off and update the list.
Oh, and Memnarch is a great suggestion. I didn't have him at the time (it was my 2nd attempt at an EDH deck), but now I do. When Braids borrows the Darksteel Colossus back from Sharuum I'll be sure to snag Memnarch as well.
How has Braids worked in the political game? Does she actually live to your turn so you benefit from the effect? Or do people try and smoke her asap? I feel like she might be kind of like a howling mine where even though it's probably helping you more (because you designed your deck for it) it helps the others out enough to let it stay around.
Also, where are the eldrazi?
Do you feel you don't need to protect her? I'd probably run some lightning greaves and stuff to keep her safe.

I think maybe Altar of Dementia could be replaced with something else, especially after I removed some big guys. Maybe Memory Jar? I've been thinking of replacing Grozoth with Kederekt Leviathan.
As usual, comments, questions, and suggestions are welcome.

EDIT: Swapped Vanishing in.

OK, that should do the trick. Thanks.
