"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

Bumping this out of interest. Still playing this deck Pride? I'm thinking of building a Hokori prison style deck. Want to play MWC / prison and was thinking he might be the best option.
Some cards I'm considering for the deck in addition to your list:
Tangle Wire
Crucible of Worlds
Erratic Portal - protect Hokori / let you untap your own lands - it also forces your opponents to play around it which I've found to be surprisingly disruptive
Tithe - Did you test this at all? Curious as to how effective it may be.
Knight Captain of Eos - Fog engine
Reveillark - Might consider this if I decide to go more creature based
Jitte / SoFI / SoLS - equip to Hokori for extra win cons and protection with the swords
Iron Maiden - As a way to speed up the win-con? People will probably have massive hands if you get a bit of a lock going
Stuff from Zendikar:
Luminarch Ascension - Additional Wincon / A better version of Hoofprints of the Stag
Day of Judgement - Obvious
Iona, Shield of Emeria - Big win-con
Eternity Vessel - I'm thinking this is gonna be ridiculous in EDH for decks like this
Emeria, the Sky Ruin - Recursion for free seems good. Awesome for mono-W
I want to aim for Multiplayer, but also be viable 1 v 1.
Kind of what I was afraid of happening. Maybe it would get hated out too quickly. 8.5 Tails seems like a better option as I can still play some of the control cards.

My 8.5 Tails list is fun, revolves around Test of Endurance for the win.
Armageddon will have that one player who's been patiently untapping and keeping his mana lose 30 minutes of his life and not have it back ever (Oops! Its in the deck. But I still think its funny how I described the usefulness of the card).
Mangara of Corondar will wait for the first few opposing permanent that will hit play. Oh, hello there Stonecloaker!
Aurification means opponents will spend mana on creatures that will never attack you.
Yes, because it worked well. Prison decks, while effective, are not going to make your friends happy.
Perfect! My playgroup consists of players who play a lot of unfun and unfriendly cards like Blatant Thievery, Bond of Agony, and Razia's Purification, plus a lot of people are playing tons of reset cards as well as Sharuum combo. I'd like to officially borrow your list and piss them off.
Horoki gets hated on really quick just as a heads up. Further, you might consider Reverence and Marble Titan as a way to help keep creatures off your back while keeping everyone locked down. Oh and a must and personal favorite in my Horoki deck is Erratic Portal. EOT before yours, bounce Horoki, untap all your lands then drop him from your hand for the cheap cost. It's so delightful.

"You are what you pretend to be, so you must be careful what you pretend to be" from Mother Night
I love this idea. Do anyone have any ideas for the prison route instead of the life gain route. I'm adding Saltblast and Endless Horizons as well as Mangara of Corondor for my Horoki deck but I would love more suggestions. Also, a few mono white win combos would be welcome Thanks

You've spent about 5 seconds reading this. I hope it was well spent.
Look at me! I can bold words and use CAPSLOCK to emphasize my point! Hopefully I can trick people into ignoring that I completely have no evidence in my post to back up my claims if I make it look fancy enough.

We are waiting for World Queller, right?
Why did they get tired of it? Because they couldn't beat it? Did it "work?" And if you're still accepting suggestions, Eon Hub for a further lock.
