Have you considered spawning pit. I run it in my rhys deck and its easily one of the more effective cards in it. A free sac outlet that creates extra bodies is definitely something worth having. Other good options include knight-captain of eos( larkable reusable fog effects or tokens if you need them), doomed necromancer (allows you to lark or sun titan for any creature) and maybe even moriok replica (titanable larkable sign in blood).
I had considered Spawning Pit at one point, but I never acquired one, and I have enough other sacrifice outlets that do good things, so I'm guessing it will fall into the same category as things like Ashnod's Altar: decent sac outlet, but the effect from the sacrifice isn't worth it.
Knight-Captain of Eos is not that good. He can't sacrifice himself, and he only makes two other little guys. I used to have Mobilization in my deck, so he was a little better than, but Spike Weaver is just better, and I don't really need a Fog-effect.
Doomed Necromancer has been on the radar for awhile, but he's one of those cards that I haven't taken the time to acquire. I used to say the same thing about Oversold Cemetery, and once I finally found one, it became quite useful. I'm sure that if I ever find a copy of the Necro, I'll try it out. It's definitely got the right size, and its ability is good enough that it's worth sticking on a 2/2.
On the other hand, Moriok Replica doesn't really seem very exciting. I would never play Sign in Blood in this format, and adding a colorless Grey Ogre isn't going to make it any better.
One more note: Molten Shark's Fierce Empath package is starting to sound like a good idea. Unfortunately, that would mean spending money on a Primeval Titan and increasing the curve a little. More to come on this later...
I'd really prefer not to turn my deck into a degenerate combo like that. Karmic Guide and Reveillark are both individually strong cards, so they are both in my list for that reason, and if I happen to get both of them going together, so be it. But I don't want to draw any more hate than I already do for winning with a lame combo that everyone's seen before.
I too started out using the Knight Captain, but soon switched to spike weaver
doomed necromancer is great, hes a strong part of my necrotic ooze package
last week in response to a wrath of god, with an ooze in play and necromancer/ reveilark & other critters in the yard.... I returned the lark with ooze copying necromancer's ability... wrath hit the lark and from that position I replenished my board position(lark brings back karmic guide bringing back sun titan bringing back animate dead on another creature

Yeah, that's a pretty legitimeate play with your list, i tried it ..
I usually get the big target on my forehead, when i play it.. its really consistent and a single Animate Dead spells game over for them, if they don't stop you.. and recurring Tormod's Crypt with Academy Ruins really doesn't keep the dragon from smashing..
Today, i played 1 on 1.
First game i think was like 3nd Turn Hermit Druid, next turn he goes insane, Animate Dead Karmic Guide for Sun Titan for Fierce Empath for Primeval Titan. Next Turn i cast Titan, fetch for Dark Depths, recur Hexmage, make Marit Lage, cast Teneb.. i felt like i was playing Warhammer 40K with a Nidzilla army..
Other game i got out an early Minion Reflector off Ancient Tomb and Crucible with fetch.. when Terastrodon hit, i made babies 2x out of my lands. "Pretty funny, i stomped my grounds, now i'll stomp you"..
SO, what do you think of the new general they spoiled?
Karador, Ghost Chieftain - 5BGW
Legendary Creature - Centaur Sprit
Karador, Ghost Chieftain costs 1 less to play for each creature card in your graveyard.
During each of your turns, you may cast one creature card from your graveyard.
"Death tried to uncrown me. But now I return, king of a far greater realm." 3/4
It kinda looks like Crucible for creatures, which seems cool. The other thing is, players will go "omg, broken" and hate you for next 10 turns. I prefer Teneb, he's sneaky..
However, the other guy needs a serious deck around him also. Maybe i'll try him out in a deck (as a regular bomb) to see, how it fares out. Sure he ain't broken as much as Geth, but what do you know..
Why not Solemn Simulacrum over Farhaven Elf? Surely the one extra mana is worth being colorless and getting to draw when he leaves play. With all the sacrifice effects that seems like it would pay off a lot more.
@Karador: He looks awesome, and he is probably every bit as good as Teneb is, if not better. The only drawback in my mind would be the same thing that was already mentioned: he might be so broken that other players will start to focus more on nuking my yard, which is enough of a problem already. I've seen people play less threatening generals for the same reason: playing black Sygg instead of Oona or Wrexial, for example. If nothing else, he belongs in the deck somewhere.
@Farhaven Elf: He fits Sun Titan and Reveillark, and he's a little cheaper, so he gets the nod. I rarely have a problem getting extra card advantage, so one cantrip doesn't make much of a difference.
Do you think it's worth cutting some things to fit in Primevil Titan, Doomed Necromancer and/or Fierce Empath? I'm currently trying to find space for Primevil Titan/Fierce Empath in my deck, just not sure what to cut. What do you think about cutting Krovikan Horror and Yavimaya Granger for them? I tried looking for a place to put Doomed Necromancer in (got one from my friend in the other dorm), but I don't see a spot to squeeze him in.

Hmm...good question.
Since I don't have a Titan or a Necro, I haven't really thought about what I might cut for them. Definitely not Krovikan Horror...as someone put it earlier in this thread, he's like the black Squee, and he's a sac outlet, and he's direct damage.
Yavimaya Granger is a possibility, if I'm replacing it with a better ramp card in Primeval Titan...he's basically Farhaven Elf #2, but ramp is always a good idea. Maybe something like Primal Growth? Maybe Acidic Slime?
Hard to say...it's never easy to make cuts in this deck.

I was considering Primal Growth, but I don't want to cut back too much on the ramp. Then again, getting out a Primevil means you're 'at least' going to have 8 lands on the field, which is nice. I'll try swapping out Yavimaya Granger, Primal Growth and Acidic Slime for Primevil Titan, Fierce Empath and Doomed Necromancer, and let you know how it goes Acidic Slime almost feels like overkill on artifacts enchantments with the Sliver/Reveillark/Karmic Guide shenanigans.

One of my good friends plays a very good Esper deck based on artifacts/enchantments. It used to have Hanna, Ship's Navigator as the general, but he's since added black to it. Therefore, I need a few more Disenchant-effects than most people.
Oh ok, that makes a bit more sense. The decks that I normally play against are more creature-aggro focused than anything else; which is why I recently started using Vorosh, the Hunter as another EDH general.

I really wouldn't take out Acidic Slime. He also kills lands, which can be occasionally useful, and the Deathtouch is really important because it can make people think twice about choosing you to attack or it will trade with something worth far more, then get recurred.
If anyone does choose to go the combo route, it's worth noting that Blistergrub is almost always going to be a superior choice. It doesn't target, so it gets around Ivory Mask effects, and it doesn't deal damage, which gets around damage prevention/protection effects.
The only instance I can think of where the myr would be better is with a platinum angel or platinum emperion on the table, as you could kill it first.
I realize this combo is not the popular consensus here, but I thought I'd share.
I just came home from our weekly edh "marathon" (it lasted 13 hours, mind you ), so maybe later i'll sum it up a bit.
In short:
1) Genesis Wave and Geth are MVPs (crazy good, kinda like time stretch with copy effects good)
2) Spike Weaver is really good
3) Obliterate and Decree of Anihilation made some stupid but fun moments

Please do, I'd like to read about it.
Geth is going to replace Puppeteer Clique straight-up in my list the next time I play (probably Sunday).
Hmm, i wrote it down allready, but it seems the post got lost while i was posting it.. hmm, maybe ill write it down next week then, kinda busy atm
Anyways, what "mana sinks" do you suggest running as finishers of choice with all the Coffers shenenigans mana?
Known suspects:
-Geth
-Genesis Wave
-Reassembling Skeleton+Skullclamp
-Tooth and Nail
What else? Best bet would be a creature with CMC 6 or greater for Fierce Empath, ofc. Has to be broken, though
I am not sure you need to overload on recursion effects in this kind of deck. Your general already does that job, so I would give serious thought to excluding Debtor's Knell, Reya, etc. It's nice to get the effect without having to actually hit your oppo, but they are very expensive so you have to pay a lot for that benefit. Meanwhile anything that hits your 'yard like Bojuka Bog/Leyline/etc. negates not just one card, but several. I'd probably run a couple of these cards (Maybe Genesis, Witness and Restock) but I definitely wouldn't go crazy.

Some people like to win MtG matches in the Red Zone. I prefer to win the way God intended: on the stack.
