I'm currently making a Mayael EDH deck and timbermare seems to be great. Right before your turn, you Mayael to tap down ALL enemy creatures, leaving all your fatties open for attacking. I have also thought of the benefit of hunted troll and hunted dragon in multiplayer, great way to make allies as you choose whih player to give tokens to.
I'll see if what I can post what I have so far so I can maybe recieve suggestions on my own deack.

I left my edh deck, along with other cards at my shop...and it was stolen. Hopefully I can recreate it, and I think I can.

Path to Exile (Obviously. EDH is the only format where running StP, Condemn and PtE is reasonable...so I think I should, right?)

Meglonoth (Fairly costed, mean.)

Cliffrunner Behemoth (Gives me something to do early game plus life, yay)
Exotic Orchard (Autoinclude in EDH, IMO)
Reliquary Tower (Same)
Rupture Spire (Same)
Font of Mythos (no real reason, just seems fun)
Knotvine Mystic (sweet accel! It is blood tender's bud)
Soul's Majesty (gotta play this card in some format...
Wall of Reverence (Lifegain, helps me set up my board for awhile as well)
Thornling (Wrathproof, just good. Wish it had 5 power :/)

My first attempt at an EDH deck, you guys have any suggestions for adding or removing cards? One limitation, I want to keep the cards fairly cheap, any of the expensive ones currently in there I traded for. Also, some of the big creatures are placeholders, such as Beacon Behemoth for other cards I have yet to aqure. Cards on my list to buy are
Order of the Stars is a bit out of place, but my idea with it is I need lots of early burn and protection cause Mayael takes a while to get going. I don't see Protean Hulk banned as far as I can see, and my local game store doesn't have it banned, so I think I'll keep it for the moment :). I probably am going to need for big creatures though, I want the odds to be I will always hit one with Mayael, which means at least 20.
I've been running Contested Cliffs in my Mayael EDH, and it's incredibly powerful if you have enough 5-power Beasts to support it. It's essentially 1RG: Destroy target creature with power less than the power of target creature you control. And because it's damage, it is absolutely nuts with Vigor. Play this ability once per turn. If you don't have enough Beasts, Arena also works...but don't count it as a land, as it doesn't produce mana; count it as a 0-cost enchantment. Kavu Lair is incredible in here also, keeps your hand full of cards.
Is this list for 1-on-1? I ask because some of your cards are weak in traditional multiplayer EDH: Naturalize, Magma Spray, Shard Volley, Seal of Fire, etc. Pretty much anything that targets one thing with no card advantage attached is not a good idea.
I have a mayael deck here as well further down the page. The above post has fine suggestions except the fat that doesn't trigger mayael. Multani is amazing. I don't have much trouble ramping up to mayael usually.

In my Mayael deck, every creature in the 4+ mana slot has at least 5 power. Makes her ability very consistent and really scary.
Yeah, I thought I'd had at least 20 5+ creatures, I guess not :). I will be buffing the creature count to at least 24 so on average mayaels ability will activate, assuming good shuffling. Thanks for the suggestions guys!

I went in a different direction and removed Urza's Blueprints, Jalum Tome, and Armadillo Cloak for Ghostway, Muse Vessel and All Suns' Dawn.

I was really cranky that I had no answer to certain cards like Capsize. Muse Vessel works nicely against such things.

Swords to Plowshares: best removal ever
Savage Twister: can leave your fatties unharmed
Indrik Stomphowler: art/ench removal on a fattie
Eternal Witness: !!
Flametongue Kavu: kill a utililty creature and have decent body
Wurmcalling: make some fat tokens
Brion Stoutarm: fling your fatties and gain some life
Tornado Elemental: die fliers! die!
Rith, the Awakener: flying fattie that has babies
Phantom Nishoba: one of GW's best fatties
Mayael is really cool and is a very cool EDH general. Good luck with her.
