This deck is so fun, its Timmy to the Max. its all land search and big creatures. but it works a lot. because Molimo is so removal resistant. A friend of mine played this deck once and had to cast him 10 times. And he still won the match, killing 2 of his 3 opponent's with Commander Damage. Pretty crazy stuff. Though, i still want to improve this deck too. any ideas would be wonderful. I know Berserk would be perfect, but getting a hold of one is really hard.
Here is the deck that I posted a couple of days ago.
I have been able to take on multiple people at once in certain games and others i just
mana accelerate, either way I find Molimo, Maro-Sorcerer to be an awesome general because of
how fast you can kill the other people at the table.
I just love killing people with biggest and fattest creatures from green because no one expects anything to kill them if it just a creature deck.
I'm not a big fan of spells which just allow you to life gain. What're ya gonna gain, like 12, 14 life max with joyous respite? Also misgivings on Storm Seeker. Yeah, people draw a lot of cards, but max it's like ten damage once, when it could be another pump spell (Overrun?)
I think Budoka Gardener is pretty underrated. He might cost one more than Exploration and need to wait a turn before you can start dropping extra lands, but both of these drawbacks are fine in all but the most explosive decks. In return you get the ability to easily tutor for him with green's creature tutors and he functions as a powerful wincon instead of a dead card once you have enough lands out.
He's really solid, especially in GR where you can have universal haste, allowing him to work immediately, flip immediately, and have his elementals attack right after they are created. I think he'd be particularly good in Maelstrom Wanderer, and I will be sure to test him.
