Update, picking up all the cards I need within the next few days. Lists will be posted shortly after. Once again sorry for the delay. Haven't been able to focus on my hobby (MTG) lately
So I've been looking at Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief while updating my own list, as well as working on the premium 1v1 (french ban), 1v1 (non-french ban), and multiplayer list (which honestly will be ImAChampion's list)
Is Drana playable in this deck? The removal is awesome, but could the creature simply be win more?

I don't like her. I think that she would would be fighting for Nirkana Revenants spot. They both seem like very similar cards to me...except that Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief gets worse as players leave the table. You must have a target for Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief in order for her to have "Firebreathing"...where Nirkana Revenant is mult-useful. With Whispersilk Cloak...you put the entire group game on an X turn clock where X= The number of players still alive.
With that said...I think that it deserves a good testing. What would you consider running her instead of?
While working on the 1v1 list and playing a few multiplayer games. Drana isn't worth playing. But a card I really want to test is It that Betrays. I know it is alot of mana to cast, BUT it is kinda like another Bloodchief Ascension. My current gut reaction is this card is win more, but it looks intresting.

Wow...that is very similar to Bloodchief Ascension in this deck. Coupled with Pox...gg. my problem here is that this card is almost going to be exclusively a combo card. No way do you untap with it. Because of this it's mana cost is actually 11BBB and you must have Pox in hand.
In theory this looks like a monster play. Have you tinkered with it?
The It that Betrays combo with Pox is pretty nasty. ImAChampion does have a point, it will get removed a lot. But that can be said for any big/good creature. By itself the card is really powerful, most of the time people will want to sac lands to his Annihilator, which I think triggers land fall for you.
I think the card is good enough to warrant a spot in the deck by itself, it has synergy with Ob, and is a nasty finishing combo with Pox. It is fine if they remove it, that happens, but if they don't, a lot of times that will be game. It is somewhat similar (somewhat) to BSA in standard. If they cannot answer it, they are going to have a hard time winning.
I've been messing around with a lot of different MBC-based decks, and I really love All is Dust over Disk. One of the things I hated so much about Disk was waiting a turn before activating it. This meant a high risk of seeing it blown up before my next untap step, as well as giving everyone else a turn to prepare themselves for a Disk activation -- which softens the blow.
All is Dust doesn't have this wait at all and it has absolutely beautiful synergy with It that Betrays (should you do run it) as a bonus. All is Dust completely ignores indestructibility and stops planeswalkers -- both of which Disk cannot touch at all. Granted, you can't take out artifacts, but that's a trade-off I'm willing to take.
Artifacts are extremely relevant against this deck. The simple solution is...run both. They are both amazing cards that enhance the deck's performance.
Are you referring to 1v1 or Multiplayer? I could see a valid arguement if this was 1v1...but multiplayer...Nevinyrral's Disk is invaluable.
Got a little bit of FUN based update, as I've posted decklists for Planechase Cards and Archenemy Cards.
Still working on the 1v1 builds of the deck (taking forever I know, but I'm busy with work and school, and when I had free time, I needed a little break from Mr. Nixilis)
Another card I am not sure of, after Rise I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this deck isn't getting the hook up...
Man it is getting worse and worse for the "hook ups". Kinda sad to be honest, had my hopes up. Time will tell (hopefully that Dark Tutelage card is something awesome)
a question, since when is temporal extortion bad? While my mono black deck has maga as a general it still seems as though ob nix would still appreciate the opponent paying Half of their life. In addition, not to use the removal argument but emrakul is really not a bit fan of bribery, just saying
I'd like to think the deck has adequate answers for Emerakul if it does get hit with bribery. There is always Diabolic Edict, Barter in Blood, Damnation, Oblivion Stone, even Decree depending on the mana available. Idk I think Emerakul is just too good to not play. Specially when you can end up tutoring for it. Plus it shuffles your graveyard back into your deck so you can tutor up spells you've already played.

When you beat down with Ob Nixilis, it's usually general damage that kills an opponent -- regardless of what life they're at. This isn't like playing Maga where you can cut someone's life total in half and soften them up to drain them out with Maga later. Additionally, you can't control who coughs up half their life in multiplayer when you cast Temporal Extortion which is also really annoying.

I don't think that this deck needs Emrakul. This is the biggest reason why I am against playing it. With that said...the risk that it gives to this deck just seems to high.
In most games that I play...Bribery comes online extremely quickly. Long before most of our answers to Emrakul would ever be available. Granted it does paint a huge target on the caster of Bribery...but on turn 3-4 whats the worst someone can hit you with? There have been quite a few games where I have nailed an early Marit Laige Token and rode him to victory.
Play him if you feel you must but...I would strongly caution against it.

I've been finding this out, mostly the hard way lol. Anyways, I'll eat my words on the Grave Titan. I've been loving that card lately. Titan plus Graveborn Muse is retarded card draw.
Lastly, I think MCR has been having some success with the Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple + Rings of Brighthearth infinite mana combo as a finisher. MBC decks usually play Coffers and Temple anyway, and Rings of Brighthearth can be randomly good with planeswalkers, fetchlands and such.
Yeah...Grave Titan just isn't fair. He is so good in this deck. On the other side...he isn't backbreaking should it get stolen. I am in 100% agreement by adding him in.
As for the infinite mana...eh. I don't think this deck needs it. We don't have a lot of use for it really. Sure there are some times where you could abuse it but...I prefer a more straight forward deck. It is cool though.

Doesn't your decklist for Ob nixilis say you play both Emrakul along with It that Betrays? :/ I'm a little confused.
And I actually don't mind Emrakul in the deck. Plus you can cast him really early with the mana ramp. Then just attack the person most likely to cause it problems.
The infi mana would only be amazing with one of the Drain Life Spells in hand. Its not like you're running Maga though which is always in the command zone. So idk about it or its consistency.

That list is really old. My apologies. Grave Titan definetly belongs in its place. As for It that Betrays...I don't mind it in the deck. Currently I don't have it in the deck...but I could see it making the cut. It isn't as backbreaking as Emrakul, the Aeons Torn should it be cast against you. Afterall...it can be killed much easier. On top of that...Annihilator 2 really isn't that big of a deal. I just have a hard time passing up on casting this followed by Pox. My poker face would go right out the window as I would squeal with joy when I had the combo in hand.

Its a good card...it just carries a lot of baggage. If your meta is not a sea of Blue...then shuffle him in. But when you know that every other deck at the table is packing Bribery...you might want to think twice.

Rigns of Brighthearth is amazing. It can produce infinite mana with Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple, it can have planeswalker abilities happen twice (ever put two players to ten life before?), it can allow double activations of Necropotence (pay 2 mana instead of 1 more life), Strip Mine/Wasteland, Maze of Ith, Fetchlands, Expedition Map, Planar Portal, Fate counters for Oblivion Stone, Sensei's Divining Top, and so on. Way good.
Also I've changed this primer just to multiplayer, simply because I don't have the time or money to dedicate this deck to have staple 1v1 cards and the such. So if anyone wants to work on a 1v1 list for the regular EDH format and using the French Ban list, feel free. I'll post your results here (or you can make a primer if you want to)

well, n/m about that
Also Nantuko Shade and Leyline of the Void, no love in this core set
Has the Sink hole been really necessary?
props on the deck. ;]
On House guard, and beseech: Planar Portal, a mana investment it may be, fill the slot these two cards could fill nicely.
Sinkhole, is simply in the deck, because I have a beta one. I'm actually taking it out in the near future.
Thanks for the kind words.

This was my opinion on it. I think that Cabal Coffers + Deserted Temple is plenty. Besides...what do you cut for Rings of Brighthearth?
