Just out of curiosity (didn't read all 6 pages), I always wondered why Glissa lists never went for Leyline of the Void/Helm of Obedience combo? It totally synergizes with the deck, runs with it's theme and is a super sleezy wincon. Plus both cards serve a purpose in their own right, and can be fun to random people out with.
I can see the cons being- it's definitely a kiss of death to play early since normally it only pops one player a turn, painting a giant bullseye on you from the remaining opponents. It's also a one-trick pony since everyone will be wary of it in the future games.
Is it because the combo is so obvious and likely overplayed... that it did not make this deck?
This combo doesn't exist in this deck mainly for two reasons:
Leyline of the Void is almost always a dead draw. (Hell, it doesn't even get rid of anything already in the graveyard.)
If LotV is active, your opponents no longer have a reason to turn any of their grave hate on anyone other than you. This can cripple Glissa.
The wellsprings are fine cards, except that they cannot sac themselves. Including an artifact sac package to this deck would use up slots the deck doesn't have. This is an issue when Glissa relies mainly on getting value from the graveyard.
Also, it's time to talk about Gatecrash's update to this deck. The three cards for this deck are probably fairly obvious to those paying attention to the Primer:
Thespian's Stage: Okay, a LOT of people are saying this card is worse than Vesuva. The reason I believe it's about even is because of Vesuva's one inherent weakness. If drawn early in the game, it might get wasted because you need to hit land drops. Therefore, I think it's about even. I'm swapping out a Swamp for it.
Sylvan Primordial: People are calling this the new Primeval Titan (and not the new Prime Time, since Zegana is now a thing.) It's not subtle, or interesting design, but it's a game-wrecking sledgehammer, and that's totally fine with me. Netherborn Phalanx is getting the axe for this.
Crypt Ghast: I was chewing my nails anticipating the RC's decision on Color Identity and Extort. Four mana for a doubler that staples a one-mana pseudo-Lightning Helix onto any spell is a deal too good to pass up. Wirewood Herald is being taken out for it.
I also cleaned up the primer a bit, cutting old cards out of the examples and getting rid of the extra Viridian Longbow in the Considered Cards section.
"When does a man die? When he is hit by a bullet? No! When he suffers a disease? No! When he ate a soup made out of a poisonous mushroom? No! A man dies when he is forgotten!" Currently Piloting: EDH BGGlissa, The Traitor - Recursion (Primer) WBRKaalia of The Vast URGRiku of Two Reflections WUBSydri, Galvanic Genius UBRamirez DePietro GWKrond, The Dawn-Clad GWUDerevi, Empyrial Tactician RGOmnath, Locus of Rage

I run this in my version of Glissa because it is indeed a sleezy and easily tutored way to steal away a win that would not normally be yours. However, I must agree with Woohah that Leyline of the Void is a dead draw 100% of the time you're not comboing out. You don't really want it in Glissa unless you have an abnormally large number of tutor cards like I do in my build.
Hey quick question, are you running Caged Sun over Mana Reflection because people would blow mana reflection up too easily and with caged sun at least you can get it back using glissa?
Quick question, what's up with Elvish Harbinger? I know the deck used to be far more elf-centric but at the moment you only have five elves in the deck. One of them is the elf doing the tutoring and another's your general. Mind you, the other three are pretty good cards but what advantage does it offer you over Worldly Tutor? Worldly can grab any creature you want rather than just elves, both put the creature on top of the library, and Worldly is an Instant. You don't have a lot of ways to abuse the tutor on a body-ness of Harbinger and being a turn three mana dork doesn't seem terribly important. Is there something I'm missing?
Anyone have a ballpark figure on how much this deck might cost to put together? I checked the decklist on coolstuffinc.com and it quoted the deck at $530! This deck looks really fun and might replace Kaalia of the Vast as my go to deck for several reasons:
-my playgroup has absolutely outlawed countermagic (they will not budge on this)
-when playing Kaalia she doesn't stick on the board for more than a turn
-without Kaalia in play and triggering my deck comes to a screeching hault, I need a deck that isn't so reliant on the commander

First of all, your group sounds like a bunch of idiots. Outlawing countermagic? Look, I know it sucks to get spells countered, but it's necessary for balance's sake.
Talking about price, I think I've put about a $100 purely in getting cards for the deck. The rest, I was able to trade or bust open packs for. Cut out the landbase, it should drop the price by a fair margin.

Fair point. It's definitely on the chopping block, but I'd really like to get my hands on something more powerful than Worldly Tutor before cutting her. Say, Diabolic Intent for example.

Uhhh....yes! You've figured out my master plan!
No. Actually, I'd run both if I had a copy of MR, but despite it's price, they're hard to track down.

Hey everybody, it's time for an update! With Dragon's Maze coming next month, I'm really excited to see what the Golgari bring to the table (particularly with Varloz,) and I'm hoping we get something that makes up for their less-than-exciting mechanic. Anyway, onto the update:
GP Pittsburgh has come and gone, so some new powerful spells join the array:

Diabolic Intent - Same as before. Corpse Connoisseur has dined on his last cadaver.

Since you're running Grave Betrayal, you should consider Karn, Silver Golem. It'll let you steal artifacts. Even without GB, it'll let you kill non-creature artifacts. A solid card, recurrable with Glissa.

Gaze of Granite - Yeah, yeah, this one's a little obvious. The ability to destroy Planeswalkers shouldn't be underestimated. It had a good run, but Sol Ring's getting cut. The accel isn't necessary in this deck.
Pontiff of Blight - The ability to give your creatures extort is extremely powerful in a big mana deck. It especially adds value to the little artifacts that keep getting recasted. Sadly, this means Ink-Eyes is getting cut from the deck.

I went with Promo as well. Partly because it's one of the few promo cards I got in person (bonus, I also got the promo full art Black Sun's Zenith as well).
Whenever I see the promo in someones trade folder I am always tempted to trade for it... but can never seem to bring myself to get extra copies of a card I already have all I need of.
I have been running the golgari keyrune it is an artifact/creature with deathtouch... that is basically what my particular version of the deck wants... it has the bonus of also being ramp and fixing.
I have basically avoided all the Big Mana based things your deck is running, I have just the 1 X spell (profane command) and a geth and that is really it for mana sinks. Big mana is not my style... I basically decided I wasn't going to do it once I chose to never cast an exsanguinate.
I feel like this one is just, I am playing B/G lets put in all the best B/G cards and a small number of value artifacts. To some extent I am a little disappointed with where this deck has ended up.... a little too spike and not enough johnny. But it is your deck so do what you want.

Here's the issue with B/G: Although we've got the most commanders out of all enemy two-color combinations (12, including Thelon of Havenwood and Rhys the Exiled,) almost all of them have a strong encouragement on their strategy and are pretty terrible creatures unless they are built around.
Iname as One - Spirits/Arcane
Rhys/Nath - Elves
Thelon - Fungi
Jarad/Savra/Varolz - Sacrifice
Sapling of Colfenor - Big Asses Deck (Actually, that description kind of makes me want to build this now. And put Sir Mix-A-Lot on the deckbox, because that reference totally isn't dated.)
Vhati il-Dal - Uhhh...-1/-1 Counters?
Sisters of Stone Death - Big Mana
Skullbriar - Voltron
And then there's Glissa herself. She doesn't NEED her extra triggered ability, and for the mana cost, she'd be fair just with her french vanilla abilities. Artifacts don't get much love outside of Blue/Esper Builds, and it's readily apparent why: those colors just play nice with artifacts. So, when Mirrodin Besieged gave us a commander (in GREEN, of all things,) it seemed like an excellent way to stretch the color pie a little bit. Glissa is incredibly flexible in what can be done with her: Virtus's Glissa build (linked in the primer itself) makes her an insane stax engine. In fact, most of the above things that her brethren are designed to do, she can just as easily assume the role. (Except Iname, Thelon, and Sapling, considering that Glissa is the perfect combo of colors to do infect for Vhati.)
Ultimately, I can't stand up and say that this primer is the be-all, end-all way to design Glissa, the Traitor. I've put heavy thought into designing alternate packages to slide into the deck in order to change it's gameplan, but I just don't have the time for that right now. This primer should serve as a baseline on Glissa's possibilities, and give one possibility that really gives that feel of playing Battlecruiser Magic.
Now then, onto the M14 updates!
First off, Rise of The Dark Realms. Hoo doggie, what a wincon for black! I can see this doing stupid, awful things after a wrath (and we have FIVE!) As fun as it was, Plague Wind's getting cut for this, since the other wraths kill our creatures, and this allows us to reuse ETB effects.
Strionic Resonator cranks Glissa's ability into overdrive, and means that chaining Executioner's Capsule kills now nets additional profit! Ulvenwald Tracker's had a good, good run, but his time has come, I'm afraid.
Garruk, Caller of Beasts is a freaking boss. He thins the deck out, pulling it's many powerful creatures into your hand, and then spitting them back out onto the battlefield. And dat ultimate. Jarad's Orders is getting cut for this, sad to say. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of this yet, so I'm just going to slot in the next card, discussed below.
Primeval Bounty should be called, NEXT STOP, VALUE CITY. This deck's ability to reuse creature and non-creature spells mean that we will be generating some serious CA for cheap mana. I'm still debating this one, keep an eye on this space.
I have a Tooth and Nail and a Summoner's Pact sitting on my shelf, begging for a home. Should I add them to this deck though...decisions, decisions..

I hope I didn't offend you with my earlier post.... part of EDH is the deck personalisation... Glissa's versatility is what makes a popular general it is unlikely that if two glissa deck face off against each other that they have chosen the same strategy.
Stronic resonator is my big in from M14. I am little worried that I will have it on board doing nothing but there is so many triggered ability in my deck it seems like it will be worth it.
Primeval bounty is really super good now that i look at it..
Anything that gets +1/+1 counters on Glissa makes her terrifying and forces blocks which kills creatures gets you artifacts. I also probably need more life gain I just like that my deck has no enchantments... so I can run hush and not hit anything of mine.

replace hush with calming verse, just tap everything when you play it.
Can this deck still function well minus Exsanguinate and Genesis Wave? They feel a little "Whelp, I have enough mana guess I win?" Also, does your deck have 101 cards or can I just not count (a distinct possibility!)?
This combo doesn't exist in this deck mainly for two reasons:
